Returned next day to different PA and staff only to be run around till I was frustrated beyond belief. Despite not even being seen by the PA was Denied Treatment. To top it off PA decided to document in Prisma charting that I was "aggressive". Never saw me,, but has an opinion! Stick to the northern Greenville ER (traveler's rest). They have Always been exceptional !!

Additionally, it was the first physical in my nearly 55 years where the doctor did not check anything. Just ran a couple of blood tests. Dr Coplin did not check my kidneys, liver, lungs, reflexes or "turn your head and cough". Essentially malpractice.

When a prescription dosage was called in wrong the second time I knew I had to find a new Doctor. Dr. MacMillan is kind and professional and strait forward. He has done more for me in two visits than anyone has done in years! As a patient we definitely have to be our own advocate. The Communication with his office is top notch. I saw him and reviewed my medical history with three auto-immune conditions. Today, I called to request that he take over a non-controlled prescription because the prescribing physician is all the way in Charleston. His medical assistant called me back and said that he gave an emphatic "no" that the medication is being used off-label (as MANY are) and that he refused to write for it. I am so sick of doctors these days playing god and not caring for their patients!! Most doctors only care about their big fat check but nothing for the care and collaboration with/for their patients. I will not be going back but I am having anxiety about where to go! I wish that I didn't need treatment because I would never go to a doctor if I could at this point and that is with my own personal background as a nurse and over 20 years in the medical field. Thankfully I was able to see my doctor the next day and my issue wasn't acute. Anyway, back to the issue, after I had called the answering service,the on call Dr, Dr. Scott Weikle called me back. I said hello and before I could even begin, he told me in an abusive, harsh, irrational tone that he was not going to listen to my "bevy of symptoms and health issues" and I would have to contact my doctor tomorrow if this was a true emergency call 9-1-1. REALLY?!?! Now I've worked at my country tax collector's office and am retired from the state DMV, so I know rude and abusive behavior from BOTH sides pf the counter. Dr. Scott Weikle was NOT professional at all- dismissive and rude, especially at a time when I was at a low, desperate point asking for someone to help me. It's not indicative of what Bon Secours/ Mercy Hospital system is all about. I see several positive reviews regarding Dr. Scott Weikle, but this wasn't my experience. I pray I don't get a form letter response apologizing or sayin somethin repetitive like this is a teachable moment and the hospital system blah blah blah. I want Dr. Scott Weikle disciplined.
