We stumbled upon this spot near lunchtime one day in Sayulita, and came back in that night for hookah and drinks. The food was very good, though the nachos were a little unconventional since the only cheese they had available was mozzarella. We ordered the vegan ones and added cheese, which I would highly recommend as the vegetables (particularly the jackfruit) were high quality and delicious. The vegan hot dog was so good that I was able to goad a staunch carnivore into finishing it off for me, and the beverages were tasty and refreshing. We watched the bartender (who was incredibly kind and personable) make them and were able to see how fresh everything was. When we came back that night, all of our drinks were well-made and the hookah service was very good. It was my first time, and I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. Definitely come here if you're in Sayulita.

Must visit this cute little bar in Sayulita. Good luck prying me off the swing chairs! They have a variety of drinks to satisfy every taste palette and hookah. Hookah. Have the bartender mix her faves and you won't regret it. Both ladies were warm and friendly. You get treated like family... love this little spot with a huge personality.

This spot deserves 5 stars, awesome spot awesome service and even more amazing drinks with hookah, my wife and I spotted this hookah bar by accident as we waited for a table at the restaurant across the street named El Itacate (which is amazing as well by the way) and as we waited for our table we ordered a few drinks - Paloma and a spicy tamarindo margarita which were amazing and I also ordered a hookah and right when we ordered our table was ready and I asked the bartender if I could come back for the hookah after our food was done and he absolutely and just pay me when you come back for your drinks, that caught me off guard but I thought it was an amazing gesture and so we came back and enjoyed one a few more drinks and the hookah Total we had 4 drinks and a hookah for $500 pesos which is around $25 If I ever come back I'll make sure to stop by FYI it's only 2-3 blocks from the beach

Atico is impossible to miss when in Sayulita--it's the bar with swings for seats along the sidewalk! It's also attached to a hostel (and I'm sure the bar gets a lot of patrons from there), if you need a place for the night. The bar features live music a few times a week. When there's a band playing, you'll know--the music is loud enough to hear from the surrounding streets. The bar also gets extremely packed on these nights, with folks dancing on the sidewalk and crowding around with a drink in hand despite the lack of empty seats. Overall, it's a good time. My favorite way to take in Atico was on a leisurely Monday afternoon, perched on the swing, sipping a beer. It was chill, languid, and the perfect way to cap off our time in Sayulita. I hear their margaritas are the bomb, but alas, I never ended up trying one. I need to save something to tempt me for a return trip, right?

Absolutely awesome chicken-only spot with sassy service but welcoming smells and prices. Really tasty, fresh, yummy - sit in the swings out front for some fun.

Easily the best margarita we had in Sayulita and great live music on a few nights. Really fun place and the bartenders were super friendly. We ended up coming here at some point every day during our week long vacation.

I took a trip to Sayulita last month and spent a hefty chunk of time on the beach, both during the…read moreday and deep into the night. I can't figure out what this beach was called (my best guess was Playa Camaron, based on this bar), but Google is inconclusive, so this review is for the beach bar as well as the adjacent beach--which is, after all, where you enjoy your Club de Playa Camaron drinks. My friends and I came out on the Saturday of our trip, for an all-night cumbia party on the beach. We left our house after 11 and stayed out until 4 in the morning. I'm 30 years old, and haven't partied like this in a while, and never have habitually; I felt a little like I deserved a medal at the end of it, but I had a great time. I drank Pacificos and a few shots of this and that, and we danced for a bit in the bar, which had an open set-up so that we all drifted in and out between the bar and the beach. We talked to strangers, and at some point, I dug a very deep hole in the sand. We came back the next day, calmer and more sober, to spend the afternoon soaking in the heat. Not the smoothest beach--gritty sand and a lot of sharp hazards in the shallow water--but we were able to rent umbrellas for pretty cheap and had a relaxing time. We also made good use of the Club. It was always empty enough that we could sidle up and get drinks quick from the friendly bartender. (It also had a public bathroom, the only one we could find in the area. Crucial, that.) The drinks were perfect for the beach. I had a margarita and a piña colada, both frosty and blended and great for the hot day in the sun. The margarita was on point and the piña colada was a satisfying treat, sweet but not too sweet. If you're looking to party in Sayulita, definitely swing by this beach and Club de Playa Camaron for the cumbia party and a constant flow of booze. It's just as good during the day, when a cold drink can greatly improve a hot afternoon.

Plus had a wonderful chat with the owners Ricardo and his beautiful daughter Denise. Where do I start? Let's begin with the food. Outstanding. I started with grilled octopus tacos marinated in salsa pastor (tacos de pulpo al pastor). The octopus was so tender served on blue tortillas with marinated onions. Perfecto. My son had the tacos de arrachera. Flank steak. Super tender beef. Prepared with chile chipotle. Must try. I then enjoyed the tostada de pulpo en tres chiles. Yes, three different chiles. It was not spicy at all- just delicious. Take my word- just order it. You'll thank me later. The place is so beautiful with it's luscious garden, bar and patio. So nice they have weddings there.
