They truly provide a vital service for those of us living outside of the major metropolitan hubs. In the early stages of using this service, I did encounter some friction regarding the coordination of these longer-distance trips, specifically concerning the complex Medicaid form and documentation requirements. However, I was very pleased with how the company handled my feedback; after I suggested that they host the necessary forms directly on their website so that doctors could access them easily, they promptly implemented the change. This proactive approach resolved the vast majority of our scheduling conflicts and made the entire process much smoother. Regarding their office operations, it is true that phone wait times can occasionally be quite long, depending on the day or the time you call. That said, I have noticed a marked improvement recently as they have hired additional operators to manage the call volume. When I compare MedRide to the other medical transport options available in my region--one of which is much smaller and often fully booked days in advance--MedRide is far and away my preferred choice. They have proven themselves to be the most reliable option for me, and I trust them with 99.8% of my medical travel needs. I had a ride in 2020 that went smoothly. since "attempting" to use their services the past 2 weeks…read morethey have screwed up in every way. 1. My first appt they didn't pick me up at my home and after three phone calls in a two hour window a driver called to pick met up at my doctors office instead of my house and was 20 minutes late getting me at which point I rescheduled for today. 2. I called to have originally two scheduled rides. And the day before my appt scheduled to have my pickup from home to the doctors canceled. Just now I found out they did not cance that appt and went to pick me up at my house and I was not there. I called and spoke to the director of the dirextor and explained the situation and had to cut it short as I was in the middle of my appt. Another agent called me to let me know they're short 5 drivers (no surprise) and wanted to pick me up instead of at my scheduled 10 am slot, offered to pick me up at 12 noon. Needless to say. i would rather pay for an Uber ride a z taxi or ride with metro transportation any day of the week. I pray their disability trial program does not get renewed another six months bc after these two experiences and having spoken with 2 managers that there is dire incompetency in the way this organization is run. Someone has dropped the ball here and I don't expect their service to last much longer if they continue to provide poor service as they have done so with me these past two weeks

I highly highly recommend and Rita for transportation, it is amazing the service that they offer. It's not just transportation, friendly drivers that build were poor with the customers and EnVida goes to great links to make sure that the customers are taken care of. I like that. They have a 10 minute call that comes in. It's an automated update. Call that let you know exactly what number vehicle will be picking you up and exactly what time thank you so much EnVida for your professionalism and friendliness.
