I went to this salon hoping they could correct the color. Before I ever sat in the chair, I asked at least five times what my total would be because I didn't want any surprises. I was told it would be $150 to correct the color to honey blonde, and it was explained that price was for full highlights. I confirmed that several times before agreeing to the service. I arrived around 11:00 a.m. and didn't leave until almost 5:00 p.m. After spending nearly my entire day there, I was shocked when I got to the register and was told my total was $315 for a wash, blow-dry, silk press, and color correction on hair that's only neck length. If I had been told the real price upfront, I would have never agreed to the service. Pricing should be transparent before a client commits, not after they've spent hours in the chair. To make matters worse, I wasn't even happy with the results. The silk press wasn't as straight as I expected, especially after being there for so many hours. When I explained that the total wasn't what we had discussed, I paid $200 and told them I was going to my car to see if I had additional cash. I'm pregnant, and I even left my phone inside as collateral to show I wasn't trying to avoid paying. I sat in my car for a moment counting my money and decided I would pull closer to the entrance since my phone was still inside. Before I knew it, several women came outside and surrounded my car, which made me feel embarrassed and intimidated. Overall, the lack of clear pricing, the way the situation was handled, and the customer service left a very negative impression. Unfortunately, I won't be returning, and I can't recommend this salon based on my experience.
