I finally made it to this restaurant. The customer service is great. The young man was welcoming and he kindly took our order. They had combos or you could just get the entree to order. He let us know how long the food would take to cook. We waited inside the place. They have a few tables to dine in if you like, which we did. It is not too small but just enough room for five different parties of customers. There is not a restroom here. Overall we enjoyed our food. I ordered 10 piece Honey BBQ wings with fries and a peach drink and my hubby ordered 2 piece Fried Catfish, 5 - wings and a lemonade. I was greeted by the owner as I was entering the building. The first thing I noticed was his pleasant smile and greeting. The restaurant was nicely decorated and very clean. The owner was welcoming and gave great recommendations about the food. Based on his recommendation we choose the Philly combo. He raved about the freshness of the meat and that we would not find a better cheesesteak in Atlanta. He was not wrong. The Philly was delicious! We also ordered braised wings and shrimp fried rice. We enjoyed everything we ordered. I will definitely come back to try other items on the menu. Good food that's cheap! I had the Philly sandwich. The sandwich was rather large and a tad messy to consume. Loved the additional chunks of green peppers and mushrooms in addition to the usual cheese and onions. The bread was a little soft and soggy, but it was a hot sandwich that def filled me up. The hubs had the two piece whiting and five (?) wing combo with a drink. The wings were so so in flavor with the garlic parmesan; they were on the smaller side. Though they were super crispy, the flavors were very slight. The whiting came with two huge pieces and was flavorful with the breading. The crinkle fries were superb with it being crispy. I'm really particular with my fries and not one to like soggy or too potato-y ones, but these were delicious. The food overall were great and pretty cheap. It is currently take-out only. Good prices for classic ATL food. I had 2 piece whiting with wings combo. The wings were pretty small but the garlic parmesan flavor was good. I'd have to eat 20 of these wings to get full but they were very crispy. The flavor was more parmesan and less garlic but not overwhelmingly so. I don't think I would order the wings again though. The fish had flavorful breading. My wife even enjoyed the crinkle fries. She usually doesn't like chunky fries or potato wedges but these were crispy enough for her. I really enjoyed the fish and would order that again. The combo comes with a drink also. For the price, I thought it was a excellent value. My wife had the Philly sandwich which included green peppers and mushrooms. I think most places usually charge extra for that. The bread was a little soggy but the meat and cheese was adequate. Don't walk into the Chevron and stupidly look around for the entrance like I did. First time dining at ATL Wings & Things, I decided to try the wings. I ordered 15 wings for $10.99 - half wet lemon pepper, half cool ranch. The sauces were tasty and unique, but the wings were very overcooked. Overcooked wings is fairly common among wing places, so that's fine. Next time dining, I decided to try the things. I ordered the gyro combo for $8.49. The gyro didn't have quite enough meat, but it tasted pretty average. The fries were also pretty average. I think ATL Wings & Things is as average of a restaurant as there is. You won't have a particularly good or bad experience here; however, life's too short for mediocrity. read more

Their wings are hands down my favorite, and I like to get them with the veggie fried rice now. The rice is always fresh and it's different from most places because they add green beans in it as well. Never had much more than this from the menu. The staff is always nice...mom,dad, and son. Sometimes the mom gets overwhelmed and may mix up an order so double check before leaving. They've recently hired someone to take orders occasionally, but it doesn't relieve the wait time much especially during game nights or for the weekend rush. Parking is limited and always a challenge since it located around back of a Chevron gas station. Prices are average for a wing spot. read more

Since my last review i've been able to try a more wide range of their menu items particularly b/c the owner is so cool. She offers a whole bunch of samples so I can try their variety of offerings. 1) Gyros - 5 stars 2) Chicken Wings - Buffalo Mild, Terriyaki, Braised (Sweet & Spicy, and mild version), BBQ, & Lemon Pepper (both dry & wet version) are all solid and top notch. I seriously think i've just about fallen for this place with regards to their wings. A definite 5 star. 3) Hamburger (4.3 stars) - tastes really homestyle and I can tell it's high quality. Just a little salty for my taste. I believe they will be adding a few modifications so I look forward to trying it again. 4) Chicken Wraps (4.7 stars) 5) Fried Rice - (4.5 stars) 6) Philly Cheese Steak (Beef & Chicken version) - 5 stars 7) Fries - 4 stars 8) unlimited fountain drink - 5 stars 9) service 4.8 stars and improving. 10) price 4.4 stars (lunch specials good price, but their other items can be in the $6+ category which is a bit high for me to come here every day. My family and I went there recently and we got the wet lemon pepper wings and the breaded tilapia as well as french fries and fried rice. The lemon pepper wings were somewhat small but they tasted good and I was pleased. The shrimp fried rice was pretty good and they didn't give you those tiny shrimp these types of restaurants usually give you, and the french fries had no seasoning on them. Honestly the greatest wings I've had in a long time. It's basically a tradition for me to come here every single Friday and with good reason.
