The best halal fried chicken I've tried in Atlanta hands down and no other place has come close. Service is superior, restaurant is always clean, with affordable and great tasting food! Highly recommend!

I was excited to try this spot based on the reviews here. I ordered fried chicken and my daughter ordered chicken tenders. Everything is cooked to order so we waited patiently in the tiny dining area. Seating is very limited so it is mostly to go however I wanted to eat the food hot as it's about a 25 minute drive to the house. It tasted great going down however a few hours later, I was on the toilet most of the evening with cold sweats. Food poisoning and now I'm afraid to go back. The guy was very nice and gave my daughter a roll with her chicken tenders even though it didn't come with it.

This is my first time trying this place after driving past it millions of times. The chicken is amazing. It's crunchy and flavorful. The service is cooked to order and the ambiance is friendly. They have a big menu to try. I can say this chicken was better and nice size compared to Popeyes. This is a must try if you're ever in the area.

Well, I am happy to see new businesses in this little strip mall, this seems to be a family business, nice and new take out chicken spot. The service was great, the menu is basically chicken and sides with a few other items. I ordered the 4 whole wings, and since they cook to order I ended up waiting about 10 to 15 minutes on my order, but it was fresh and hot. Unfortunately, the chicken was not to my liking, I like little pieces of chicken and this chicken was super extra large, one wing was bigger than my entire hand and sorta on the spicy side. I'm sure someone else will love it, for me it is a matter of preference. I am definitely interested in tasting a few other menu items.

We got: - Chicken Tikka Masala Roll: delicious and flavorful, this will be my go to again and again. I want to try it with rice next time $7.99 - COD Fish Sandwich: this was fresh and a better alternative to a McDonald's sandwich. No "fishy" smell at all, very crispy $5.99 - Pops Chicken Sandwich Combo w Fries and Drink: sandwich was very crispy fresh and hot, the fries are waffle fries with checkers fry seasoning if I could best explain it. I wish they were crispier but they weren't lacking so I still say they were good! $10.49 - Mash Potatoes & Gravy: I'm not sure if they mashed the potatoes with the gravy already? I didn't get any gravy on potatoes but I think I saw gravy on someone else's picture. The potatoes were delicious and buttery nonetheless with a lot of flavor surprisingly already. I'd actually get this again if I get the fried chicken $3.49 - Fried Chicken: I heard this was very crunchy, fresh, and delicious I will say things here will be oily I think some of the items can be drained or patted down before assembling to minimize the oil fallout more but I can't find anything serious enough to knock a star off. Owner is very pleasant and polite. This place is made to order, my wait was 20 mins so I ran an errand and got a text back from the restaurant rewards when it was ready so keep this in mind! Keep in mind they close at 8pm All in all, the Chicken Tikka stuff is giving me desire to come back for sure!

Ewwwww Weeeee, where do I begin? First off, I really enjoyed the chicken. It beats fast food chicken at anytime since it doesn't sit under hot lights all day long and drying out. That's rule number 1. It's always made fresh to order and you can also call your order in. They will quote you 15 minutes but today I got mine in 10. After which I just ate in my truck while it was nice and hot. The Chicken: When first biting into it I understood the crunch that everyone on their review was speaking of. What I loved the most, the breading was very light, just minimal on the skin. It wasn't thick as most chicken places where you tear off the breading and pretty much don't have any chicken. You could just tear the skin off with no thick breading and just crunch into the skin, that was wonderful. Juicy: That has to be the most juiciest chicken I've ever had in my life!! You have to be careful biting into it if someone was sitting near you because you could possibly wet them up with the juice squirting out of it. I had 2 legs and a thigh snack. I should have just got the meal and would have came out a little cheaper but the price was reasonable for the amount and quality I received. This could possibly be some chicken that if you had to heat it up to eat later, it would still probably be juicy but I don't want to take that chance. Seasoning: The seasoning is pretty good and also a little spicy. I think that's just how the recipe is as I did order regular and didn't ask for spicy. To some, the spicy may be minimal while to others it could be a major mouth burn so take heed. It had enough salt the way I like it where I could taste the seasoning as well as others. It's a little more spicy than Popeyes if that's any indication and maybe a notch lower than Church's when they used to do spicy as I'm not sure if they still do. So now I've given you all a taste comparison as to what to expect. In Closing: As long as these guys keep the recipe the way it is and don't deviate from it, they'll be alright. Their business will thrive. Businesses fail when they experiment or try to go cheaper routes and the quality goes down. Or sometimes if they don't follow the same exact seasoning amounts they've used before. This is a hint to the owners.

I got these mashed potatoes to go and the gravy was freaking insane and finger licking delicious!

Unreal Unreal Unreal Place! Everything was made fast and it was super fresh ! Perhaps the crispiest freshest chicken I've ever had hands down, except it was a little too spicy for me to fully enjoy it. I gave it five stars - because the place was amazingly clean - the mashed potatoes were to die for the onion rings were crispy hot and fresh even to go. I tried the fish sandwich, and it was on freaking believable totally fresh like it was just caught and everything else even the bread and biscuits were just top notch! Go there and let me know how it was - damn good job fellas! Enjoy it everyone!

Crispy chicken breast, yummy mashed potatoes and Cole slaw.

The fried chicken was crispy like no other, perfectly seasoned and portion size on point for the price. Not a fan of an up charge for hot sauce and placing gravy on the side. I love to support businesses in my neighborhood so I will be back!

The entrance is immaculate and clean. Very easy to navigate. Has bar seating in case you do have to wait.

I can't believe we stumbled upon this place one night. Driving home from the gym, I don't even know how we took a detour from our regular route, but we are GLAD we did. That car ride home with the food is a core memory... I'm sure of it. We've ordered here twice now, and this is some one-of-a-kind fried chicken in Lawrenceville! Both times we ordered a bucket of chicken with biscuits and sides. My goodness! The chicken smells divine but the taste?! Like... you need to run to order yourself a bucket. Yes, just yourself! It's worth it. The chicken is juicy but that fried part???-- It's crispy and not hard fried but also delicious. IDK how they pulled that off, but it's truly NY PRIME. It does give that traditional NY fried chicken you would get at bodega vibes but with great online ordering and sides! The mac-n-cheese is cheesy but that gravy BELONGS to that mashed potato. The guys in the front and back provide a great service upon walking in. The location is really clean and welcoming with enough parking. Pro Tip: Order online. They update you with your order and it's very accurate!

I've attached a photo so others can judge for themselves. We immediately called the restaurant. The young lady who answered transferred us to Jeremy, who she identified as the cook, we later found him to be the owner. We explained that the sausage was severely burned. Instead of apologizing or offering to make it right, Jeremy's response was, "Did you want it raw?" He then stated that he cooked it himself, remembered making it, and knew it wasn't burned. Not only was the food unacceptable, but Jeremy's attitude was rude, arrogant, and extremely condescending. My wife offered to email him a photo of the biscuit, which she did. About an hour later, she called back to follow up. Jeremy said he hadn't looked at the email because he was busy. He went on to explain that he needed to get everyone out by 1:30, had other things to do afterward, and would call us back around 2:30. That call never came. Not to mention we paid $14 for two biscuits!! No follow-up. No apology. No attempt to resolve the issue. Nothing. As a business owner myself, I understand that mistakes happen. Burnt food can happen in any kitchen. What separates good businesses from bad ones is how they respond when a customer brings a problem to their attention. Instead of taking responsibility, we were met with excuses, dismissiveness, and complete indifference. After reading other reviews, it appears that burnt food and poor customer service may not be isolated incidents. Unfortunately, our experience certainly supports that impression. We weren't looking for anything unreasonable--just acknowledgment of the problem and an effort to make it right. Instead, we received some of the worst customer service I've experienced in a long time. The attached photo speaks for itself.

It's located on the corner of Webb Ginn Rd and Grayson Hwy and is connected to a Shell gas station. When I walked in, it reminded me of someone's kitchen, which I really loved. Very warm and inviting. There were pictures on the wall of different celebrities. I'm a big OutKast fan so I definitely enjoyed them paying homage to OutKast and of course my Falcons. So the restaurant is New York City food infused with southern comfort which is so intriguing to me. They have a very nice and expansive menu from seafood, burgers, and breakfast items. They even have vegan options as well. The kind lady that took my order did say that everything on the menu is sold all day. I asked her how long had they been open and she said last June made a year. I ordered the shrimp and grits and the Oreo cookie crunch cheesecake but to my horror, the kind lady said something about they did not have dessert. Now I'm not sure if they had ran out or just wasn't serving dessert at that time but it was just after 11am when I got there, so it was lunch time hours. Needless to say, I was disappointed but the food definitely made up for me. The shrimp and grits were AMAZING! The sauce was what really did it. The biscuit had like a honey topping and was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The portion size was perfect! I'm thinking really hard y'all but honestly, I have to say that, that was the BEST shrimp and grits I've ever had. I'm looking forward to going back and getting that Oreo cheesecake and I really want to try the hoagie.

The World's Best BLT in a Lonely Gas Station Corner…read more Tucked into the dim corner of a run-down gas station off Highway 14 is The Griddle Stop, a place so unassuming you'd drive past it a hundred times without a second thought. Dusty windows, flickering neon, and a gas pump that hasn't worked since the Clinton administration. But behind a creaky door and a scratched-up counter sits the holy grail of sandwiches: the world's best BLT. Served on thick, toasted sourdough that crackles just right under your bite, the bacon comes in unapologetically fat slabs -- smoky, crisp, and curled like it has a story to tell. The lettuce? Iceberg, shredded fresh and cold like it was pulled straight from a mountain stream. The tomatoes are impossibly red, juicy, and somehow always in season, kissed with just enough salt to make your lips tingle. And the mayo -- homemade, garlicky, and spread edge to edge -- binds the whole miracle together. There's no music playing, no Instagram signage, and the cook, a retired Marine named Earl, only grunts when you compliment his food. But when that sandwich hits your table (a wobbly Formica top near the vending machine), the world slows down. You forget you're alone. You forget the gas station smell. You forget everything but the next bite. Five stars. No frills. No fuss. Just the kind of meal that makes you question every fancy sandwich you've ever overpaid for. Earl doesn't serve happiness, but he'll sure as hell give you the sandwich that feels like it.
