Ordered a USMC NCO sword from them a month ago. After no updates, I called and was informed that they had my order but did not have any coming from the manufacturer anytime soon. Cancelled my order immediately. If you need a sword for drill, don't depend on them to have your order when you need it. Horrible service! I placed an order for a Marine Corps NCO sword, and the company advertises shipping within 48 hours. Instead, my order was placed on backorder with no notification whatsoever. When I finally called to check the status, I was told they had no idea when the correct length would arrive. To work around the issue, I modified my order to a length that was supposedly in stock and was assured it would ship the next day. A week later, with still no shipping confirmation, I called again and was told the system had "dropped the order." They promised to send it out that same day. Shortly after, I received the one and only call from them informing me that they were out of that sword length too and asked me to change the order yet again. This would not meet my needs, so I demanded a refund. This entire process took 17 days, and not once did the company contact me first to inform me there was a problem. I had to chase them every time for updates, only to receive conflicting or misleading information. As a Marine, I hold the Marine Corps NCO sword in high regard and expected better service. I would strongly recommend other Marines look elsewhere for their purchase. read more

Mandy and Patty McCord supervisors are absolutely terrible. They have terrible customer service skills, rude and do not know how to communicate. They sent our order 3 day shipping (we did not receive it in 3 days) and refused to pay return shipping back to them. Patty was extremely rude and unprofessional over the phone. I wasted several hours trying to navigate and purchase from this company. Probably the most dated website I have seen. Three websites blended together selling mostly REPLICAS. Utterly bonkers infrastructure. They were also running a sale scam where either the item to be purchased was suddenly out of stock ot the sale did not register. Weak. Fool me once... shame on you... Fool me twice... go to yelp. The products offered at Atlanta Cutlery & Museum Replicas are all pretty standard and can be found on other sites. Prices are inline with the norm. The problem I had is they have horrible 'bate and switch' tactics for back orders and marketing fishing. I placed an order at Christmas time 2019 with Atlanta Cutlery because other online stores listed the product as 'back ordered' but Atlanta did not. I placed the order and the full amount was deducted via Paypal. I then received an email saying the product was back ordered after they took my money. I cancelled the order... Fool me once... Time passes and I have the same situation in May 2020 for a different product (other stores back ordered). I had forgotten the previous experience and placed the order...paid for it...they took my money...and then I received the same email 'back ordered'. Again I cancelled the order... Fool me twice... and thus here I am on Yelp. Additional negative experience - this time I was offered a 10% discount if I signed up for their newsletter. I signed up... got the code... and was told I could not apply the code to the order. Great - now you have my contact info for your marketing fishing... I run a customer support department and I realize that the key to a positive customer experience is to empower the customer. The first step in this 'empowerment' is to provide accurate information to the customer so they can make an informed decision on their purchases. Taking my contact information for marketing purposes and then not delivering on the discount is a 'bad' thing.... taking people's money and THEN telling them they won't receive the items is a 'bad' thing. So people - in consideration that Atlanta Cutlery & Museum Replicas does not offer any unique product selections that cannot be found on other webstores I HIGHLY suggest you avoid Atlanta Cutlery & Museum Replicas if you seek a positive purchase experience. After waiting for a month on an item not on backorder anywhere else I emailed for an update. A week later I get a response of no update available. For the cost of the item and the fact that it was already a month, that response is unacceptable. When I called to confirm cancellation, they mentioned that the product is being made in India. With no updates until whenever it arrives. This item is heavily advertised as being made in Spain. When questioned I could not get a straight answer. Went somewhere else and received a better-quality version, certified and engraved in 3 days. read more

I bought a reproduction bayonet for a 1903 Springfield rifle. I did not come close to fitting into the lug. So I tried it on a WW1 trench gun that takes the same bayonet; not even close to fitting. So I got out an original one that was cut down for the WW11 Garand; they are interchangeable; fit perfectly. So, I would say that may of Atlanta's bayonets either have manufacturing or specification problems caused by Atlanta's quality control. If you have the same issue I suggest a complaint to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) for "unfair and deceptive trade practices." I waited for so long for this item; it is worthless, unless you want to hang it somewhere. read more

Items are hit or miss, more hit but there are a few that are not outstanding quality. One thing that I HATE is on about half of the products made just for ACC you have no choice but to pay a Sharpening FEE or your knife or sword comes with NO EDGE. Ends up making a $79.99 knife be $99.99 unless you just want it to hang on the wall. My item seemed to take a extra long time to get to me. I did order it around Christmas and it arrived Christmas Eve. However other places I ordered from at the same time shipped much faster. If you are placing an order from Atlanta Cutlery you might give the order 3-4 extra days arrival time. The item was packaged very nicely, and was in perfect condition. Really neat place, Very unique. Prices were really fair and the man that works in the showroom is very nice and personable. He let me look at a variety of different knives and knew a lot about their design and history on the older knives. We talked about all different kinds of edged weapons and firearms and he even let me try on a few of his replica medieval helmets. I had done business with this company previously but never again. Previously, if an item was not as represented, they would refund the full amount. Now they are only refunding the cost and not the postage charged, even though you have to pay to ship it back to them. Basically they are adopting a bait and switch sales model by misrepresenting merchandise and then making money out of the customer when the customer either doesn't send it back or even making money if the customer does send it back. And the customer sevice reps are rude on top of that! Company has definitely gone down hill in a big way. read more
