Also range time is now metered and you may be asked to leave after a time as half of their ranges are not in use and they might have a large group coming in right before closing time.

And they have small selection of guns to RENT. Price has gone up significantly if you're out of town or on a fun date and don't regularly shoot DONT recommend it. TLDR: the ammo was defective. They didn't respond to my complaints. I was very excited to find a supply of 40 caliber ammunition. It's been tough to find. I don't typically buy remanufactured ammo but I'm not picky these days. And I know Atlanta arms supplies a lot of the local ranges with ammunition so I figure if it's good enough for them... I took it to the range and I loaded a couple magazines of my Steyr M 40. At the very first shot I noticed something wasn't right. The report was very quiet and the gun had very little felt recoil. I pulled the trigger again and of course it was a failure to feed. I looked up and the shell was stovepiped. And the second and the third too. All FTF. All in all we had six malfunctions in a row with two different magazines and two different experienced shooters to make sure it wasn't a technique issue. I had my last box of Speer Lawman and I loaded that in a mag and shot it. The first thing I noticed was how much louder it was and how much heavier the recoil was. I don't know if this is the normal way the stuff is supposed to be. I'm a fairly experienced shooter and I would have to assume that these are very lightly loaded with powder. Or else the powder was defective. The report had to of been about as half as loud as a normal factory new ammunition. And the recoil felt like a 22 pistol. My guess is it has to be defective versus this is how it normally is. Because I can't imagine all the local gun ranges having to run ammo that consistently malfunctions. The slugs seemed fine as the holes in target were the same with both ammunition. Until I figure out exactly what the deal is though I can't really recommend buying it.

Their attitudes are arrogant, disrespectful, and completely inconsistent with what customers should expect from a firearms-related business. Most concerning of all is the apparent lack of safety awareness. I recently Purchased a Groupon for Range visits and Gun Rental. This Groupon is a ripoff on its…read moreface. You have to purchase ammo, eyes, and ears. The ammo can range from 19 to 29 for a box of 50 depending of the caliber. They don't rent eyes and ears Eyes were 2 bucks for ears, they had earplugs for .50c or Muffs for $9.99. I ended up spending an extra $43 when I went there shooting a .40 cal. Literally if I don't purchase my own weapon, I will end up spending close to $200 to shoot at this place. I wouldn't have never purchased this groupon if I knew that shooting would cost that much. Dosen't make it better that it is in Lilburn about 5 miles off of I-85. The shop is nice, people are nice, gun prices are affordable but if you don't bring your own stuff, it will get expensive. Be Warned.

Then I told him I was wanting to fill out the ATF form 4 and maybe shoot some rounds after. That's when I was barked at by this employee saying "we close at 8pm!" While filling out the form I came across a question I made eye contact with the same heavy set bald employee and asked "what does this question mean?" He rolled his eyes and huffed and came to the kiosk. He then proceeds to bark at me what I should answer. After all is said and done I'm standing at the counter ready to spend $1600 at this store and a different customer walks in asks for 20 minutes of range time which would have him finishing before 8pm and that same employee raises his voice at him and reiterates "WE CLOSE AT 8" This is when I decided to leave this disgusting establishment who treats customers like trash and that their business is a hassle. I would advise anyone that considers going here to just drive somewhere else. Unless you like being treated like your business is their problem.
