My suspicion is it is townie's place. When we went, I did not see any UGA kids. In other words, it's a place for grown ups for the most part. Pro-tip: Get there early for an evening show. The owners made a very creative use of this space. Come in and check it out for yourself. This coffee shop is located inside the Wire Park - An old factory, turned into a fun activity space for families and adults. When you walk in, on the left side you will find a shelf with merchandise. Place your order by the front entrance. They offer cute ware and mugs to enjoy inside or you can take a To-Go ware. To the right of the main entrance you can find three round tables with six chairs. They offer additional space upstairs. Upstairs, they offer tables twenty chairs with a large cloth couch. If you need to get work done, study or play board games, they offer a large table with six chairs. Wi-Fi available throughout. Throughout the coffee shop you feel like you're not in Watkinsville. Instead, some small French coffee shop. They do have one small restroom towards the back. Additional public restrooms available nearby outside the coffee shop. I spent few hours here. Overall, it was cozy, staff were friendly and I'm looking forward to returning. If you enjoy cute and local coffee shops, this should be added to your list.
