The play was quite well done and we enjoyed it immensely. Obviously, some of the vignettes were preferred over others, but all were done in the great spirit of Community Theater...and made for a very enjoyable Saturday evening "date night." The Theatre itself is a small, community one...and perfect for this type of play where the focus is definitely on the actors themselves and the interactions...bigger, broader ones may not fit in this relatively small place. I highly recommend...we will go back...wifey got the brochure of upcoming events...looking forward to a couple of them.

We came in for a children's show on Saturday afternoon. We've been tracking for a couple weeks…read moretrying to decide which weekend to make the drive out for a show; it's about an hour from our home. The Saturday showtimes seem to be 10am and 1:30pm. We were aiming for a puppet show last weekend but landed on a science show this weekend and I'm so glad we did! We got to see "Noreen the Science Queen" and engage in a live show with her. Not only was she amazing, but it was so wonderful to expose our girls to a woman in STEM and, more special for them, a Black woman in STEM. After the show, Noreen the Science Queen greeted the attendees in the lobby. She was open for pictures, and was selling both science kits for at home experiments and copies of her book. She is also available for birthday parties!! Now about the Cultural Arts Center, they currently have two exhibits: (1) there is an art show in the lobby in honor of Juneteenth and visitors get to vote on their favorite three (2) there is an exhibit of toys and games from the 1800s on the second floor. We didn't go up to check it out.

We especially love the relationships and friendships he builds with the other people in the group. I don't want to compare to cirque du Soleil, but will for those wondering: I'd say cirque du Soleil is a tier above considering the abilities of the performers and the transitions between acts, AND Cirque Italia is priced accordingly! It's about half the price of cirque du Soleil. It's definitely worth the price of the tickets! It's up to you if you want to spend more once inside (concessions, glow toys, etc.). That will make the event much more expensive, but it doesn't have to be -- the choice is yours. Lol I definitely recommend this show. We paid close to $40 to experience paw patrol, the theme was prevalent in decor but not so much the activities. Definitely worth it if you go on a low-traffic day! The gift shop had a ton of great toys and discount plushies which were a plus for my toddler. The staff was young adults so you can't expect over the top customer service, they were kind however. Moms be mindful that there isn't anywhere to put your bags so maybe a fanny pack or leave it in the car.

It's only an hour (yes, they really do kick you out at the hour.. they'll call your group 5 minutes before your hour ends to go to a "dance finale" in a small room). Our 4 year old had a blast, but there really wasn't much to do. And it's ridiculous they make parents pay full price. It was only worth it because they had a flash sale for 50%. I don't think I'll pay full price especially if it goes up to like $30-$40 at peak times. They did have activities (toys, coloring, blocks) you can do outside of paw patrol in the main store while you wait for your reservation time and also afterwards, which was great for my daughter to play more because she was upset with how short paw patrol was. They also had additional paid experiences like slime making. The employee was very nice and played with our daughter for a little bit too.
