My nephew's birthday was held here and I must say it was a wonderful first-time visit experience…read more Not sure if it was because of the upcoming holiday but for a Saturday afternoon just before Thanksgiving this place was soooooo quiet which probably made this visit even better. Located just off Mansell and next door to Sam's Club, parking was a breeze and the only issue we had was due to built up traffic from Sam's Club when we were leaving. There was plenty of space for the kiddos to have the time of their life with bowling, laser tag, and arcade games. There's an obstacle course as well but I did not see anyone on it. I liked that there were two huge separate spaces for bowling and the graphics for the kiddos bowling time was festive and they had bumpers and this cute little dinosaur assist that they could use to push the bowling ball down and they loved it. The arcade space was huge and there were a ton of options for all ages. Unfortunately a lot of the games were not working so we ended up playing a lot of the same game multiple times. For those who win enough "tickets" there's a huge "Winner's Circle" room to select the prize(s) of your choice. The kiddos also played laser tag and had a complete blast! There's a huge restaurant space and pizza spot inside but both were closed at the time. The bar area was nice and there were a good people hanging around there watching games. There a big open space for those celebrating birthdays but no private rooms that I could see so while there were several parties happening at the same time, there were moments of chaos between kids from different groups being in the same space and the tables for each groups being in pretty close proximity. The person who was assigned to our group did her best to manage our large party but she was handling everything (food, drinks, taking any additional orders) on her own. Overall a really good experience andddd I really appreciated how clean the space was including the bathrooms!

I usually have a good time going to Main Event and we enjoyed their $40 for $20 game card special…read moreas well as the Kids Eat Free on Tuesdays this time. However, this location really missed the mark all around. The bowling and games in particular are not well-maintained. - Food: We ordered the cheese stuffed crust pizza but they later told us the kitchen had run out (even though it was 6:30pm at the beginning of the week). The seasonal fruit that came with the kids meal was a very meager portion of 2 tiny watermelon pieces. - Bowling: They initially gave us Lane 5 but the right bumper was stuck in the up position. The worst part was that they admitted they knew that it was broken. On top of that, just a short while later, they gave the same lane to a new group!! I couldn't believe it. They reassigned us to Lane 6, which also had a broken bumper (half of the left bumper was gone). - Games: many of the games were broken and we wasted game points on them. The VR headset kept getting loose when we tried to put it in the tightest position. The basketball game to the very right didn't register points. The soccer game was not working at all. The bouncing tile game was missing tiles. One of the large basketball games got the balls stuck in the net. Overall, I would not recommend this location and would try to avoid it if I could.

3.5 Despite having…read morenerdy tendencies, this wasn't the place for me. I'm thinking that I experienced it in its weaker era. I came here on a work trip so there was a LOT going on: food buffets, bar mania, games of all sorts. Had I come here with a group of friends to play games and sip on a drink I think I would have had a different (read: better) experience. That said, I appreciate that B&B exists and what it's trying to do. Despite being here as part of a big group, the staff was perfectly lovely and patient. That's not always the case when it comes to dealing with large groups. The food menu is confusingly large and caters to about every taste.* I got a little grossed out at the thought of eating around so much dust. Board games and consoles are dirty/dusty. They show both easily. Eating around/in that didn't appeal to me. What *did* appeal to me, though, was the thought of drinking a potion. From the glass (straight up D&D) to the color (blue), I was all in. The Mana Potion had a lot of the right elements (gin, blue curacao, elderflower liqueur, lemon, and Sprite) but the extra zhuzh for our party was team too much. The edible glitter made the drink a bit thick and didn't do wonders for my stomach. It's a tough criticism because I was here for an extra sparkly drink/potion. Definitely on brand. For me, Battle & Brew is an odd space that could benefit from some editing. But, it looks like I am in the minority. I can agree with not being the target audience. So, gamers, have at it! *I didn't experience much in the way of GF/DF/VG options but, again, target audience.

I was truly excited to try this place because it is such a cool concept. Went yesterday for dinner…read morewith my husband, daughter, and my friend and her daughter. We opted for the board games for $7 so that we could play together at the table while we ate, which is a great idea in theory but the execution left a lot to be desired. Most of the games we tried to play were old, dirty (yuck), and incomplete. For example, we were unable to play Guess Who because both the red and blue lineups were missing people and many of the people cards were torn into pieces. We were able to play What Do You Meme, but it was obvious that most of the meme cards were missing, so we had to stop abruptly when we ran out of new cards. Since people are eating and playing, effort should be made to keep the games clean, or at the very least, provide hand sanitizer at each table so that guests aren't grossed out about handling dirty game pieces in between grabbing bites of their sandwich or other finger food. I just feel like even though $7 for board game play is reasonable, it felt far less justifiable after experiencing the issues I just explained. If you are going to charge people any amount to use the games, ensuring that those games are complete and sanitary seems like a reasonable expectation. Service was okay but most of the food did not even meet the okay standard. We started with mozerrela sticks, which were okay. The fries with all our meals were obviously the frozen bagged kind you can find at any grocery store. They added seasoning but it's not enough to hide the fact that you are eating frozen fries at a sit down restaurant. My husband ordered the Don't Call It Hotlanta chicken sandwich and I think that was probably the best tasting thing we all ordered. I ordered the ATLA with cheese and did not like it very much. The bread was too crispy, the cheese was cold, and the overall flavor just didn't do it for me. My daughter ordered the mac and cheese with a side of fries. It does say on the menu that it is Kraft mac and cheese. She didn't complain, but she's 12 and not too picky so no surprise there. I had a soda water, my daughter had a sprite, and my husband had two mixed drinks (I think margaritas). Our total bill including the $7 for a crappy board game experience came out to $94 before tip. It was not worth it and I would never return for dinner nor can I recommend that others consider this a worthy dinner spot. Nevertheless, it would be a cool spot to come to with a big group of friends to play the computer and video games while enjoying a few drinks and maybe an appetizer or two. I could see that being a fun experience and would be open to returning to play the video games with friends or maybe one of their event nights like trivia that sounds like a good time, but I won't come back specifically for dinner because there are far better place to get a far superior meal for that price around here. So, at the end of the day, two stars is my review for the dinner and board game experience, but it would probably be closer to a 4 for just video games and drinks or events because I don't think there is anything else like it around here. I am not 100% on pricing for the video games but I think I saw something like $20 per hour, which I think might be a little pricey. However, I am not a big gamer myself so I may not be the best judge of that.

Which was sad because we were supposed to be there to celebrate my son's 13th birthday. He was excited to try this place out. We drove over an hour to be disappointed. First we walk in an hour after opening on a Sunday, place was empty.......we walk right up to the counter and I tell the girl that I had looked the pricing up online and I knew I wanted to do the 3 race, game card, and k1 membership pass for 3 boys. She gave me a blank stare and then said oh you mean 2 race. Ok. Rude. But ok yeah that. She proceeds to ask the boys had they ever been there before. 1 of my sons friends says yes. So she goes you need to go check him on the computer with a waiver first because he has a membership so you won't pay for that part for him. Here I am thinking oh she is being helpful after being wrong. I smile. We go to computers do the waiver for 1 boy as instructed. We go back to the counter now 2 more groups have come in. We have to wait behind 1 group now since there is only one cashier/check in person although there were at least 5 other staff in the building including a manager. Anyway after we wait for that group to check in. I step back to the counter and THEN she proceeds to tell me oh you didn't do the waiver for the other two. I'm like you told me to do it only for the one that had been here before. So again we step out of line and go BACK to the computers. At this time I'm starting to get annoyed. By this time more people are coming in, so now my boys will have to wait behind several big groups when we arrived before ALL of these people. When I finally get back to the counter.....all boys are checked in. She got RUDE again. And wanted to loudly explain pricing to me and make sure I knew that the boys only got a $10 game card for what I was about to pay. Like VERY loud. I didn't hear her do this with any of the other groups that checked in before us and I hate to say this.......none of them were my complexion. Never once was I rude or matching her volume or tone. We actually walked in that place happy because we were supposed to be celebrating. Well anyway it didn't stop there. Once we got checked no instructions were given on what to do next outside of the girl at the counter giving me my receipt and their game cards. So my boys walked over to where you line up to go on the track and yet another employee was RUDE to them by telling them to back away from the gate and wait for someone to call them. They are EXCITED to be here Jeesh, so then after she yells at them they come over to me saying they not going to let her ruin the joy. They finally get called to race and all the boys are overwhelmed after the employees stopped the cars several time or slowed their speed down all during the race. Then in between their first and second race we went to their "arcade" which only has 12 games......which none of them are less than 40 credits for 1 game. $10 gets you 200 in credits. While one of the boys was in the process of playing a game they got called back for their 2nd race. It was EVEN worse than the first one. We decided to opt out of trying their food and went somewhere else to grab lunch. 0 stars would not recommend.

We were planning on going to the VIP area but we decided since things weren't super busy that we would go over to the standard side. I believe Kyle was the person who checked us in, and he was super helpful and gave us the end two lanes since I knew we would be loud. We were greeted by Tina, and we ordered some drinks and food to eat while we had our family competition where the game we chose was the highest score from an individual on a team is used for the "team score". This means that we can get some pretty competitive games going, and it didn't disappoint! We had people from age 10- age 84 and we had so much fun! Being a competitive family it was cool to see everyone smiling, laughing, and just having a blast. Tina was very great as our server, she was always around when we needed something and she also was cheering us on when she would be by. Also a cool thing. Afterwards, the kids headed to the Video game section. Super bummed I didn't get the guy's name, but he helped me navigate refilling some cards and getting set up so the kids could go wild. I appreciated the help. I'm not tech savvy, and he was able to top up some cards and get us rolling right away. I will be sure next month around Thanksgiving to get his name and add it here! I am excited about seeing family again next month. You can bet we will be back here, and enjoying another family outing with some competition bowling here at Stars and Strikes! Thanks to the team here. It's never a letdown.
