Price gouging. Very poor service. Internet always going out. You rent their router and it goes out. You buy your own and have it set up with tech and he takes their rented router then after 1 day it is out again. This company should be put out of business. Hold time over 2 hrs and the support tech said they can't do anything about issue if if isn't their router but they still charge me $80 even if it hadn't worked for a month. I am utterly livid over the wait times on hold with this company. Once you actually get someone on the line they almost immediately transfer you to another agent that never answers. What's up with the local office not having a local phone number? I called Comcast to see if their services were available in my area and unfortunately they informed me they are not. This monopoly on cable in the Cumberland area cannot continue. Do they think they can treat us shabbily because they are the only "game in town" ?? What a joke. good deal when first signing up, then they pretty much say" screw our current customers, double thier rates. " and give better deals to new customers. Have used ABB for last few years{ unfortunately the only cable internet provider in our area or they would be out of business by now} and seems like the internet service gets worse EACH DAY ! disconnect's , lag spikes, random outages.... Called them several times over last day or two, no answer. Had to leave my number for a call back.Trying to get a little bit lower bill. Doesn't seem fair new customers get alloted amazing packages for half what we are paying,but when I ask for same I'm required to downgrade my service. We are subscriber's for high speed internet and phone and have been mostly satisfied with our service over the years we have been customers. My husband's only complaint is that the prices for high speed have increased dramatically over the last few years. Other than that we definitely prefer high speed over dial up as an option. read more

This is for service in Cumberland, MD. Each month I get an email from ABB with a link to see my bill. It takes me to a dead page. When I go to their sign in page manually, I put in my user name and password, hit enter, and NOTHING happens. They DO NOT answer the phone if you call them. If you start a "chat" they don't reply. I am very disappointed with Atlantic Broadband. About 2 years ago I had ordered cable and during the day I would be out from 7am until 1am. when I get home I want to sit down and watch TV before I go to bed, but all I would find is infomercials on all the channels. Their prices are so high that I had them disconnect the service. Yes. I do owe ATLBB about $70.00, but I feel that I owe them nothing. Now I'm getting mail from them wanting me to order services from them again. I am refusing any services from them. I can't even begin to explain the God awful services you get from this crap company. Customer service AND internet/cable service! I'm currently on hold as we speak (going on an hour). My internet never works, it can never connect to anything. The last time we called (last week) the woman we spoke with reset out whole modem, password, router name, everything. Didn't have service all weekend, and needed a tech to come out. She scheduled a tech visit to come out on Monday. He called Monday and said he can't do anything about it so he's not coming out. After a few back and forth phone calls and arguing, he finally came out. "Fixed" the problem and left. He reset the password from his truck later in the day, "accidentally" ( didn't even know they had the capability to do that) then came back out to fix it, reset it to the wrong password and we were back on the phone again. We've reset the router multiple times, no connection at all but all the lights are on. This is the worst internet company I could ever imagine of having. Guess when they offer services in an area that doesn't have any other options, they will take full advantage. I'm utterly disgusted with this company and the piss poor service they "provide". read more

Absolutely terrible business. I pay $80+ a month for 75mbps, yet I only get a max of 5mbps. Customer support always takes 40-120 minutes to talk to a human, and then they do absolutely nothing anyway. If there was any other choice besides Verizon/Comcast, Atlantic Broadband would not be my provider. read more
