I'm in the process of getting a tattoo removed and was very nervous the for my first appointment but they were kind and courteous and went through the whole process with me, answering questions clearly. I just went for my second appointment and still no issues. I really like that they have photos showing their work so the customers can see their portfolio and see the results of other ppl who came to them. The laser part sucks but if you're getting a tattoo lasered off your skin it's not going to feel nice (can't be helped tbf), but they are quick and gentle. read more

My grandfather died today, and they are refusing to refund my immediate $100 for a FREE consultation. WHAT? Not only am I not greeted with any sort of condolences or any sympathy, I'm told, "That's something I'll have to speak with my manager about it looks like you've already been charged because you missed your appointment. If you would have called before the appointment, we could have avoided charging you" My grandpa was on his death bed, how could I have called? The fact that they are literally charging for a missed free consultation should speak volumes about the business. I'm not waiting around for the "manager" to get back to me tomorrow. I happened upon this business as I was looking to get two smaller black tattoos removed. The staff was very professional, and answered all my questions on the procedure, the laser being used, and the healing process. I wasn't expecting to have my first session right away, but due to the small size of the tattoos I was able to get the first laser tattoo removal session done. I'm not going to lie...it hurts worse than getting the actual tattoo but the pain only lasts for a few seconds while the laser is being used. Post laser session, my tattoos were raised and warm but have since settled down (I'm writing this 24 hour post session) Thus far im impressed with the treatment. Another awesome thing about this place is it offers military discount, and package discounts. I highly recomme d asking about them. read more

Not worth the money. While they were the most affordable in the area, I didn't see any results from my $200 session. I recently moved to Virginia Beach and booked with Atlantic for my 5th session on a large tattoo on my upper back and would not recommend anyone to ever go here. The technician completely rushed my treatment and left me questioning if the entirety of the tattoo was even covered. On average my sessions have lasted 20-30+ minutes and my appointment was over within 5. At this point you can see a very noticeable difference between sessions and I can see no change from my appointment at Atlantic. Pre and post treatment was also terrible. No pain reliever or suppressant was applied and the bandage applied was hardly secured and falling off by the time I got hone. I definitely felt like I did not get what I paid for. I am not one to typically leave bad reviews but was so disappointed with this service and the amount I paid to have no results and such a poor experience. read more

Definitely not happy. My tattoos are on my neck and smack dab in the middle of my back...places very difficult to reach. Spoke on the phone and they stated they could help with the application of the numbing cream. I applied the first layer and drove the hour to the location. Upon arrival they applied a second layer ensuring any spots I missed were covered. It took all of 2 mins and they stated they wouldn't have a problem doing this moving forward...we had a whole convo about the cream. I went to eat tacos and came back. Cool! So called to make my second appt and reminded the person on the phone I needed help with second cream application. She first told me I didn't need to layer multiple times to which I replied the dermatologist who prescribed it said to layer since it takes a lot for me to numb and with the placement of the tattoo, someone who can see where the cream is going will help to ensure coverage. Well the laser place is now too busy to help with cream application. She said she would need to schedule a 15min block just for application and they can't do that on Saturdays. Possibly during the week but they couldn't guarantee. For $300 a pop and I was committed to however many appts it took to have the tattoos fully removed this is short sighted on their part. Not too mention you originally stated you would. Lastly it bugged me her first response was I don't need it. I get this is a cash cow but jeez. A few mins in the bath to ensure the comfort of you client isn't too much to ask. read more

ALTR was extremely knowledgeable about not only their lasers (of course), but also the lasers of other places. They were straightforward about what I should expect with my results and SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper!! And the customer service was perfect. DON'T SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ANYWHERE ELSE!!! I have been going to them for a few years now. My back tatt I removed didnt take a lot. But my wrists tattoos are. They are darker. Anyway, they always have a deal going on at Xmas or black friday. And if it's not gone after 10 sessions, it's free. They have the best customer service. Nicest people. I'm glad I went with them. read more

I LOVE ATLANTIC SO MUCH! They're the best in the business if you want tattoos or hair removed (I've gotten both performed by them). I send all my friends and whoever is interested in removal to them and hear rants and raves about how quick, professional and hilarious they are. You would be doing yourself a favor if you got hair or tattoo removal by them. They're easy to book with, will work with you for scheduling, they do reminder calls and they're so quick! They'll tell you all about what to expect, what not to do and how to take care of everything. You'll see progress over time with your results. I just finished lasering off my left thigh and you can see a thing! After a week I'm healing very well, but will have to go back as this process takes several treatments. Facility is very clean and staff instilled confidence in the procedure. I wish I could talk about my experience getting my tattoos removed, but sadly i will not be using this place. I made an appointment and added my card on file because I totally understand the $50 cancellation policy. However, my appointment was at 4pm and I called as soon as they opened at 9am to ask to reschedule. I ended up having to take my dog to the vet that day and figured it would be no big deal to reschedule to the following week or so. The woman I spoke to was very nice, but let me know 'Sure, we can reschedule no problem! You will still be charged the cancellation fee though.' I let her know that I would not be returning if I still had to pay the $50 to reschedule. I understand the policy, but I am a human being and truly did want to come back at a later date. So I told her that I would be there and I arrived, told them I would not be utilizing their services, and left. I drove 45 minutes round trip just to let them know that they lost a customer over $50. read more

I had my first session today, and Trish is AWESOME! I had been thinking about getting the tattoo on my foot removed for awhile, but was a little nervous. The team reassured me and it took only 30 seconds. BLUF - it definitely hurts, but the pain is temporary, and the feeling of looking down at my feet again and not seeing a faddish tattoo is well worth it.
