At my last appointment she froze a suspicious spot off my forehead that I hadn't even noticed. A growth on the top of my head that had previously been frozen several times had not gone away. A biopsy of that was taken at the appointment. My doctor's assistant is super nice. After I told her that I needed to rent a room there she laughed & reminded me to send pictures over the Patient Portal if I noticed any suspicious spot. If Dr. Molly then thought the spot needed checked, she would schedule me for a spot check. Well....I'll be seeing them sooner rather than later. This week I received a call indicating the growth on the top of my head was Squamous Cell Carcinoma. The procedure will be different from the surgery done on my hand. An ED&C procedure was scheduled. I'm afraid to go out in the sun at all now. Pariser, Dr. Molly Smith and her assistant are the very best. I'm so happy to have them monitoring my problems.

I tried to show her my acne on my body , didn't show any concern whatsoever. Just prescribed me some pills, I was only given the name , not what it does or when to take it, and the tretnoin. Looks like she was trying to do an in and out , meanwhile I've never seen a dermatologist and I told her I couldnt wait to see one to finally deal with the problems I've been having. She states that it can't be ruining your life like skin cancer would, "my friend died of skin cancel. I take that very seriously." I said, well I'm not your friend. My mom died of Neuro endocrine cancer. Which has no relevance in this conversation. She refused to acknowledge that I even suggested to stop or slow down the exam. She didn't even believe me about rosacea, until I showed her pictures of what actually happens. If you want to feel like a valued patient this isn't the place to go. There is zero reason to act rude when someone is naked for an entire body exam. I really like that they have photos showing their work so the customers can see their portfolio and see the results of other ppl who came to them. I had a medical care appointment and because I asked about previous services and possible treatment...I got charged a consult fee?! My entire appointment lasted less than 15 minutes. I get that providers deserve to be paid but it may be a nice gesture to inform a patient that asking questions will result in an additional fee. Who knew a Dr (PA actually) won't answer questions unless you schedule an appointment for consult?? I get that some patients could take advantage and ask all sorts of medical questions that are unrelated but maybe you use your judgement and bill accordingly?!?!! Ok-so $100 later (and VERY few minutes!!) , I get a call from the compound pharmacy requesting a fee ($65) to make the numbing cream but a trip SEVERAL hours later to CVS where they DONT have my prescription-I had to place a call to the office to find out why my scrip isn't there almost three hours later. I'm told by this office they are still seeing patients and I need to potentially wait 24 hours or more to get my medically necessary prescription?!?!!! WHAT?? So a compound/custom pharmacy gets the scrip for an elected procedure within minutes but the medically necessary scrip ....i need to wait until they've had time?? Everything about this appointment was just bad policy. Except the medically necessary appointment and scrip needs-I did get seen for that. I was placed in a large consultation/treatment room where there was a giant air purifier which was nice. Ashley was great, she was his assistant and was very friendly and knowledgeable as well. I felt comfortable and confident in their care which is difficult to find around here in my experience.
