Atlantis Pets and Supplies is a local pet store. I've only bought fish and aquatic plants so that's what this review will cover. They have good healthy stock and knowledgeable people. You get what you pay for. They have a return policy but you don't have to bring back half of what you buy like at fiber places because of sickness or death. So far everything we have bought has been healthy and happy. The staff is friendly and explain everything. I recommend Atlantis. read more

All the fish were dead and I had called him and said I was going to drive in there 30 miles it was so gross hundreds of dead fish everywhere and they didn't care the guy just said we get reimbursed for him it will never go in there again the rest of my life​ read more

Under new management, the owner is very helpful. We have been getting back into the world of tropical fish. Unlike other the other tropical fish in town I have not seen any dead fish left in tanks. I got three fish and a dwarf frog two days ago and they died within not even one day. Then i went to get more and they died aswell. I went to the store to get my cash back because with how fast they died, i didn't want to get more and have them die. They said they don't do cash back and only in store credit. So do not expect your money back at all. Fun fact that we learned. If someone spends $400 on a snake and it dies they will not give you your money back either. This is outrageous and ridiculous. The owner will learn somehow, this is gonna turn lots of customers away so fast. read more

Good location, very welcoming and friendly staff. We were acknowledged with a hello upon walking in the door and dark-haired staff member asked how she could help us. Had lots of reptile cages and they even had hermit crabs. Great place to get meal worms. By individual number or in a 50 ct. container for $3. We love this pet store! BEST ONE IN DOUGLAS COUNTY! The guy that owns the place looks like he is in a biker gang but he's so friendly, knowledgable and awesome! The other cashiers are friendly and helpful! We used to come here a lot when we lived in Winston for their Saltwater Fish and supplies! They sell for reasonable prices! Atlantis is my favorite pet shop, hands down. I've had nothing but good experiences here, and it feels like I could spend hours in there just looking at all the stuff that I might buy someday. Their prices are super reasonable (definitely much better than the larger chain in town), their staff is helpful and knowledgeable, and the quality of their goods is among the best. One thing about Atlantis pet store is if you buy your dog food there, if your pet has BAD skin allergies,(and can be proven by vet records) Atlantis pet store DOES NOT take back the food if it makes your pets allergies worse. Even with a reciept. We even tried the one that the sales girl recommend. When I tried to return the pet food, the girl had a bad attitude and would not let me get a word in. I was trying to explain and she just kept her mouth moving and would not let me speak. This is where PETCO is a better store. THEY WILL TAKE BACK OPENED DOG FOOD if it is not working for your pet....so much for trying to support a local owned family business.....We will not go back to Atalantis. read more
