I didn't ask him to lower his price, he did do on his own. I accepted his proposal. Once it was time to get down and dirty and send what he needed to do the work, he seemed like he was ready to start, but then after about a week of me checking in with him several times to see if he had started on the project, he never responded back. All I got was crickets. Zilch. Nada. I reached out a few times more and still the same. Nothing. I eventually ended up canceling the job and getting a refund because he accepted the job and stopped communicating after I had shared private login info along with details about the project with him. He basically flaked on me and never told me why or if he just couldn't do the job or if something had happened on his end. Either way, I've wasted two weeks and someone else could have done my project. It was only a one-page project. I'm not happy about this and when working with a web designer, communication is key. When you know better, you do better. He doesn't know any better I guess. I won't book him again and id advises anyone who has an encounter with him to make sure you know and trust that he will do the work and communicate with you throughout the process. The sad part is that I was willing to pay more than what he had asked for and I'm actually a really good tipper. He missed out.
