It's unfortunate that Spine One has such poor reviews. Following a referral from my primary doc for…read morepretyy severe neck pain, Spine One was able to get me in the same week. From the front office staff to Dr. Hakin, my anesthesiologist, Lauren, the nurses, and the MRI tech, EVERYONE here has been so kind, professional, and competent. Within the span of two weeks, I had my consult, MRI, diagnosis consultation, and four cervical corticosteroid injections. Two weeks later, I am 90% pain free. I met with Misbah, the physical therapist, for the first time today. She was *amazing*, and was able to not only pinpoint and help my neck stiffness and remaining pain, but she also found places of residual and referred pain I didn't know I had. She's given me exercises to strengthen and heal all of these areas. While I understand that everyone's pain experience is different, I can honestly say that coming to Spine One has been the best decision I've made in a very long time. If you are hesitant at all because of some of the reviews on this site (i was!) -please don't be. I am virtually pain free for the first time in a long time, and it's only because of the care I've received here.

SpineOne and Dr. Hakim literally gave me my life back. I've had spine issues for years (including…read morefusion) and back pain was seriously impacting my quality of life. Dr. Hakim and his amazing surgical team performed ablations and my pain level diminished so much that I hardly noticed it. Dr Hakim is kind, knowledgeable, skilled and caring. I could not ask for more in a doctor, In addition to Dr Hakim, his PA, Tara DeCrescentis is also extremely professional, highly-educated and compassionate. She was able to evaluate me and explain in great detail what my issues were and how they could be resolved. She filed the necessary paperwork for insurance immediately and I was quickly approved and scheduled for the procedure. Again, one couldn't ask for more in a medical professional. I also want to acknowledge the rest of the staff who followed-up with clear pre-op instructions and post-op check-in. Annie and Lexie were both a wonderful help in several communications when I was working with my insurance company. They, too, were great at follow-up and keeping me posted. I highly recommend Dr Hakim and the whole SpineOne team

He had the most immediate opening which aligned with my timeline. Unfortunately he did have to inform me that I may need to look at hardware removal in the future, but I love a doctor who is transparent. His medical assistant Caley was also amazing. She checked my incisions and removed my stitches. While it was uncomfortable, it was still a great experience. They both have great bedside manners. Dr. Resig's timeline is different than the surgeon who did my surgery, as he will have me bear weight on my ankle sooner, but as daunting as it sounds, if I can get back on my feet sooner, I'll take it. My original timeline was non-weight bearing for the first 6 weeks, and this moves it up two weeks! I originally was going to go with a different doctor and office but their scheduler told me that they would want to see my X-rays, unfortunately I wouldn't be able to get it in time for that appointment so I looked elsewhere and I'm glad I did because I was stressing out about it. TL;DR I highly recommend OCC and Dr. Resig for your foot and ankle woes. The whole team there is awesome and so friendly.
