After extensive research along with a few phone calls, I found The Ship Station on John W Morrow Jr Pkwy to have the MOST reasonable prices for monthly rentals. You can't "rent by month" but in 3 month or longer increments. I called and was taken care of like a pro. Yvonne and her husband are beyond friendly, they make you feel like family. Yvonne reminded me of another awesome female business owner... Me. She was extremely helpful and made the process very easy. Once we came in (a few weeks later) she immediately welcomed us and was just as beautiful as I imagined. Her personality shines, and so does her attention to detail. The facility was FAR more than expected. I mean... if I had unlimited money to spend on "wants" I would buy so much stuff for myself or friends/family. I would probably spend way too much there and not regret it. The entire staff is friendly and helpful, but Yvonne is a dream. I love coming in for my weekly city visit to pick up my mail and chat it up with Yvonne. TRIGGER ALERT: Not only can you rent a U-Haul trailer, but you can pick up a Christian shirt or a Trump cup. For those who hate 45, you won't notice those things as the store is filled with something for everyone. I'm very MAGA and I appreciate seeing my Cheeto man on items I can purchase for gifts. Longtime customer, deeply disappointed -- avoid this location…read more I've been a loyal customer of the UPS Store on Dawsonville Highway (Store #6134) for years and have always had great experiences -- until today. We accidentally cut the wrong label on one of two packages being shipped and simply needed it corrected. Rather than handling it professionally, the owner stepped in and proceeded to lecture me about the implications and difficulty of fixing the mistake, speaking to me as though I were a child. There was no patience, no warmth, and no acknowledgment that mistakes happen. What made it worse was watching how she interacted with her own employees -- short, dismissive, and condescending. It was clear this isn't just how she treats customers. I've used UPS Stores for years across many locations and have consistently received excellent service. This experience was a stark exception. If you're in Gainesville, skip this location and choose one of the other UPS Stores in the area. I won't be returning to this one.

I came in here to get help packing up a laptop that I was submitting to my employer. My employer…read morepaid for the UPS box + shipping label, so all I had to do was pack it up + drop it off at the location, but I wanted their help to make sure it was packaged securely so that the laptop wouldn't get damaged. The woman at the counter used 1 strip of tape to seal the box, and I asked her if she could add some more tape just to be safe. She said it was my job to do that, that their job is just to mail it.... I'm sorry, I thought I was at a mail center and not Walmart.
