I rarely leave negative reviews, but after my experience with this firm, I feel obligated to share…read morewhat happened so others can make an informed decision. Our experience started out great. We paid $260 for a consultation and left feeling confident that we had found the right firm. We explained that the child's mother was already offering four hours of visitation. We made it clear that we were hiring an attorney because four hours was not meaningful parenting time and we wanted help obtaining a fair parenting arrangement, legitimization, child support, and a response to the pending filing. During the consultation, we felt heard and understood. We were led to believe that the firm would aggressively pursue a better outcome and work toward resolving the matter efficiently. After paying a $5,000 retainer, the experience changed completely. The attorney who conducted the consultation was no longer handling the matter, and the case was transferred to another attorney. Within approximately two weeks, the only significant filing I am aware of was an Acknowledgment of Service. During that same period, nearly $2,000 in charges were incurred, with additional invoices reportedly still pending. When I reviewed the billing, I found numerous charges for reviewing emails, reviewing documents, saving documents to files, sending emails, and multiple staff members billing time on the same matters. I also questioned nearly $700 in charges related to a missed Zoom meeting. Most disappointing of all, after spending thousands of dollars, we were ultimately presented with the same four-hour visitation arrangement that existed before we hired counsel. The very issue we hired the firm to address remained unchanged. As of the date of this review, I have requested documentation and explanations regarding several billing concerns and have not received satisfactory answers. I have also requested clarification regarding the work performed, the invoices issued, and the progress made on the case. My son terminated representation after approximately two weeks because we had lost confidence in the value being provided relative to the cost being incurred. Every prospective client should carefully review every invoice line by line, ask detailed questions about billing practices, understand exactly who will be handling their case after the consultation, and request regular updates regarding what substantive progress is being made. This review reflects my personal experience and opinion based on the services we received and the invoices we reviewed.

Pretty standard legal costs compared to most firms. These cases are never cheap but you get what you pay for. Highly recommend!!

If you're seeking representation from a legal team who are consistently unavailable, purposefully make errors in your documentation (such as identifying the husband as 'wife' in the document and misspelling names), and fail to incorporate discussed information accurately (even resorting to guessing crucial details like income without consulting the client), then maybe they're the right fit for you. Then you'll have to pay additional fees for them to correct their own errors! However, if you prefer competent and reliable legal support without the added stress of correcting mistakes and incurring additional fees for their errors, I strongly advise against hiring them. Their services only exacerbate the challenges of resolving family disputes and leave you feeling as though you're paying for more problems than solutions.

This firm had our retainer and documents for over 7 weeks before we ever received a drafted motion…read more This was a simple modification of child support based on age of child and income change for defendant. After repeated calls and emails, a draft was sent of the motion and it was completely inaccurate in it's entirety. Emails indicating as such have gone unanswered for an additional 2 weeks. I would not recommend this firm to anyone that is looking for competent and responsive representation. I can only imagine how difficult it is going to be to receive our retainer back so that we can seek other counsel.
