Stacey, Judi, Lisa, Caralota and staff have been fantastic. Very friendly, professional, and always answer our questions even when it's obvious they are busy.

The high turnover rate for direct patient care and medication management staff left loved ones in peril. Hospice staff are challenged to communicate with clinical staff, stay informed, and feel confident their orders were being complied with. Administrative changes and management are not responsive and dismissive, including corporate. Frequently told issues resolved only to have them occur again and again. Corporate didn't bill correctly, and facility administration sent bills and communications after a loved one's death.

Just by switching his environment and the staff that actually does things with their residents, his overall well being has improved rapidly! His specialists have seen nothing but positive results in his health to include his diet. Mariella of Grapevine's healthy & delicious diet plans for all their residents have made huge positive changes with his health. Their daily activities and outings are super fun and they always bring a medical staff member for extra support! He has been to more outings in less than 6 months than he has been at his last ALF in 2 years! The facility is super cozy, quant and beautiful. There's a courtyard with ducks, lots of birds and a koi pond. The environment is super clean and the quality of care for their residents is phenomenal! A female concierge got inappropriately touched by one of the residents, yet Jeremy did nothing but blame her. So many great employees have walked out on this place because of his neglect. Also do not bring your loved ones to this place as they are ALWAYS out of something and I don't kid when I say ALWAYS. This place needs an Executive Director that cares and gets out of his office and does something. The place is really nice buts it's just a cover up to the bad things. Residents in Independent Living are completely out of control.

(Don't worry, it is completely gated all around, your loved one won't be in a situation that will bring worry) It's a great feeling knowing my grandmother is getting the care she deserves. We were new to memory care because my dad was mom's caretaker until he passed away suddenly, so we had no idea was was good or bad or right or wrong with memory care. Let me just say...facility on Precinct Line Road in Colleyville, Bad! Silverado Southlake, Good! We moved mom to Southlake in January 2018. As with most Alzheimer's patients, mom has declined in the last year. I've had at least quarterly care plan meetings with the staff and they are always tweaking her care. The staff always calls me to remind me its time and schedule the meeting. I usually drop in unannounced and always find the staff engaged. The residents seem to have full days and the staff tries to engage the residents with activities. Mom doesn't know me any more, but just last week, on a Saturday, they had a fellow with a guitar singing old songs. Those residents, including my mom, where sitting in a circle singing along to those tunes. I sat down with her and watched the response. She knew those songs but not me :-) I have found the staff to be very good, when compared with my previous experience. Is it perfect? No. It wouldn't be perfect if you had your loved one in your home. Is the care exceptional? Yes! There has been some turnover of staff, but that seems to be the norm in the industry. It is a tough business. In my view, the residents receive excellent care. The communications are excellent. If something happens, like a fall, which will happen, they are on the phone as soon as it is discovered, even if its in the middle of the night. Frankly, after getting involved in a family council with the other facility, I have come to learn that some people complain no matter what. Most of the complainers aren't interested in problem solving. Most of the folks that complained the most were on their fifth or sixth facility. At some point, you gotta ask yourself...what is the constant denominator? In summary, I love Silverado Southlake and the staff. I could not bring my mother to my home and care for her better. She is always clean, and mostly happy, considering she has a 60 second memory loop. The staff seem to really care about taking care of these vulnerable people and in my view, provide the best care available.

I quit eatting the food, it is horrible. Her clothes are not washed regularly. They mix the clothes up even when names are on the items. We were so happy to find this gem after searching many different homes and facilities. We visit often at various times and days. There is always something going on. Crafts, parties, special guest. Meals are served in the family style dining area. The atmosphere is peaceful and pleasant. The staff has been caring and loving to Pat. She is so happy living there! Glade Corners Apartments is an independent living community for seniors. It is NOT a nursing home…read moreor assisted living community. The area is reasonable, and maintenance is good. It is controlled by Pure Property Management. We were here for more than 2 years. Unfortunately, there were some problems. Our one bedroom unit was listed as having 700 sq. ft. However, we measured it and found it had less than 600 sq. ft. Both the closet and the laundry alcove were a bit small. Most laundry machines will not fit. There was no outside storage closet, and the unit was cramped. Residents who pay rent online are charged a collection fee of $7.00--10.00 for submitting their rent. Sometimes the online payment system doesn't work correctly and slaps on extra charges "by mistake." Some of our neighbors who paid rent on time were incorrectly assessed late charges of $50.00. In addition to that, Pure Management combines the monthly water bill with the rent. This often leads to confusion for renters. Sometimes the water bills do not reach residents on time, which creates more difficulty. Rental contracts also have hidden surprises. There's a $150.00 charge for renewing your lease. If you want to move out, management may put an access key box on your door so they can show your apt. unit at their convenience. If you want the key box removed for your privacy, a $350.00 service fee applies.

We moved my parents due to the lack of adequate care for safety reasons and to protect their health. We paid for every day we were there and now I'm getting a collection agency harassing us because we refused to pay the 30 day move out penally after they received inadequate care. So you think it's fair they get to penalized us by charging us a month we weren't there but they don't have to do what they were supposed to honor?

My family has developed quite a history with Elmcroft- all of it extremely positive. My dad was…read moreadmitted in February 2019 to their memory care unit and we were immediately embraced by their caring staff. Ashley, the memory care supervisor was beyond professional and caring. At every turn, they took superb care of him and kept him occupied with activities geared for his capacity level. I think it takes a special calling to work with dementia patients, and Ashley and her team exceeded every expectation. In April, the nursing staff's diligence caught the fact that Dad's blood oxygen level was dropping and had him transported to the Emergency room. He remained there until his passing in May. But the Elmcroft staff's alertness gave us several weeks with him that we would not have had otherwise, and we are all extremely grateful. But then, in August it was time to admit my mother and Elmcroft of Bedford was our only choice. Mom had resisted this move for years, but when she finally agreed, the folks at Elmcroft made the whole process very easy. Within a short time, my very reluctant mother was making friends, actively engaging in all the activities and just having lots of fun. Each month, she pours over the activity calendar to see what is coming up and she checks off which ones she is interested in. My mother is a very physically disabled stroke victim who requires help dressing and using the bathroom. But the caregivers treat her like they would their own mother or grandmother. I am just amazed at the kindness this staff shows to her and to the other residents. It takes a very special kind of person to do this job, and I am certain they are not in this role to make the big bucks. I cannot say a single negative thing about any one of the caregivers. Even the maintenance guys are incredible. Adam is really a super guy who recently helped my mom in and out of our car several times when I had to take her to doctor appointments (I was experiencing a lot of back problems and his help was a life saver). I keep asking Jill, the director, where she finds these wonderful people. I am so incredibly grateful for the dignity that was given to my father with his dementia and my mother with her physical disabilities. Elmcroft is proof that there is still kindness in this world, because I see it in action every day.

I was reminded of Parkwood while talking with my mom's home health nurse. She has a new patient in Parkwood. I was interested in reading reviews to see if anything had changed. Doesn't look like it. Whatever you do, do NOT place your loved one in their memory care. Take a look at it and you'll know why. Four years ago, we were all still dealing with problems resulting from Covid. I tried to explain the issues we had at Parkwood on that. Primarily, the caregivers were very inattentive. My parents were in Parkwood for six weeks rehab. One day I found my mother lying across the bed with her pants down below her hips. An aide had taken her to the bathroom and left her like that when she mentioned that at home her husband normally helped her with that. The aide said ok and left her. I was more than happy to get my parents out when their rehab was over. I don't know if the director is the same person, but the director at that time was totally indifferent and did nothing about the issues I brought to his attention. Only unpleasant memories of Parkwood. I do not recommend it.
