My wife already left the review that I would've worded much harsher but I suppose she is a much nicer than I would've been had I written it. Here is her review in case you missed it: This company is hands down the most unprofessional people my entire family has ever dealt with. Having used them many times we continued to recommend them to more friends and family. However this last time my husband was driving my truck from CDA out to Sandpoint but when he got almost to Athol he heard a noise from his front end, it didn't sound like much but with experience in trucks and the noises it shouldn't make he wanted to be careful and call a tow company to take it to Weavers Diesel in CDA (whom of which we HIGHLY RECCOMEND). He told the driver that he heard noise from the front end and where to take it. We promptly paid the bill that at the time seemed reasonable. The man towing the truck (a F350 King Ranch) PUT THE FRONT END WITH THE ISSUE on the ground and carried it from behind. When the truck got to the shop we received a call saying that the damage was so beyond bad they refused to touch it until we got there. The problem was originally a $15 part and because they towed it wrong- dropped the driveline and turned it into the cab all the way from Athol to CDA. This $15 fix turned into and exploded the whole front end of the truck. It is literally impossible for someone to physically drive it to cause this damage. Our $18,000 vehicle was then totaled and given a salvaged title. The truck was in the shop for over a month because of the lack of parts. We couldn't afford to put brand new parts so we bought used and it still cost us over $7,000. Local businesses literally heard it going down the road it was so loud yet the driver couldn't stop for two seconds to realize what he was doing. We use this truck for his work and where OUT of work the whole time because of them. We also now have no sale value at all. The driver admitted to his mistake and told his manager but never called us. After we went severely into debt paying to rebuild the front end of the truck and have no value left in it we asked for ANY type of help from the tow company as we understand that accidents happen and we don't want to screw anyone over.. but that if they could help with ANY of the damage and after dodging our calls and ignoring us for months they finally decided to reimburse us the minor tow charge (of which we never received and couldn't accept if we wanted to because the owner refused to call back). We lost so many thousands of dollars because of this monstrosity of a "business". In return their receptionist who has absolutely no understanding of how to be an adult called to scream at me instead of hear me out and come to a mutual agreement. We will be taking other precautions for our sake but if we could save anyone else the headache of being involved with these disrespectful, rude, irrational and terrible people we will. STAY AWAY. These guys are the greatest! They got my son's bus that he inherited from his uncle, this bus had been parked in the woods for over 10 years. The bus had one front tire locked up and they still got it out and to our home. They were always professional- they were on time- they were knowledgeable of the ability of their trucks and what would work. The young man said to me- No is not a word we say in towing, if there is a will there is a way. They found a way and they jump started a young man's journey into bus ownership. Although they charge the tow fee + mileage + 10% of total if paying by credit card - the great service was worth paying a little more than a previous company I used. I had a tow truck at my house in less than their time quote, he was very friendly and helpful. Made sure my truck was safely strapped onto the truck before driving it to the mechanics shop. Will call again if needed! read more
