We got in same day for a walk in, $25 as advertised on sign outside. She was very sweet and on time, however I went in to show her what I wanted his hair to look like because every other barber or stylist ends up giving him a bowl cut bc he doesn't know what to ask for. So we showed her reference pics and explained we didn't want a bowl cut but a low fade with longer on the top to keep his middle part with a sweeping style. She said his hair is thinner than the person in the photo which I could understand but then she immediately took a 0 to the side of his head and went way too far up. So even after I explained I thought the sides were too short, it was too late. After getting home and taking a closer look; everything is uneven and looks terrible. So now we are out $25 plus tip, and have to go to a HOPEFULLY good barber to get a fix. Long story short you get what you pay for, a quick hair cut that could be done by anyone. I wish it would've worked out I wanted to have a reliable, affordable and great stylist nearby for him to go to who knew how to do his hair. Probably because we had an amazing conversation and I just enjoyed everything about the experience. Jaymes is a very cool guy and he's intelligent and interesting and runs such a unique Salon. It was a true experience getting my hair done there and unlike any other Salon I've ever been to. I felt like I was back in San Francisco, in the city, at a very cool place. It was weird to walk out and realize I was actually in Ellensburg. The really crazy thing was that Jayme's Salon has been there for 12 years, on Water Street across from Fred Meyer, where I had worked for the last 12 years, and I never knew it was there. It is so hidden, that although it's within a stones throw of Fred Meyer, you just don't know it's there unless you know it's there. I'm so glad I found Jaymes!! Hope you find him too!!

I have previously had such good experiences with Mackenzie but since she's graduated I haven't…read morefound a budding nail tech who is worth the time in the chair. First, the salon didn't even bother stocking white polish, so I couldn't get French tips that I get every time I go. Then the tech didn't say a word the whole time I was there. I got a simple clear coat gel manicure and this is the garbage I got. No idea what shape she was going for but some parts looked chewed in the corners (she twisted the clippers to break off the nail instead of getting clean clips) and other nails had sharp corners. When I mentioned the Polish under my nails and on my skin, she looked and said she didn't see anything, then gave me a discount and sent me on my way. My nails weren't dry when she sent me off and when she pushed my cuticles back she didn't even bother trimming off the excess. Pretty bad experience and I tore the gel off in less than 24hrs because it was so ugly- you get what you pay for I guess, so though I used to love going there to get my nails done, I will now be going elsewhere.

She is professional and does an incredibly thorough job! She prides herself on no clumping and filling all of your lashes, nor do they fall out quickly. Conversion was easy & relaxed, it felt like we've known them both for years. I would suggest that management consider Hailey's ideas in adding soundbath therapies. That would have made an incredible experience that much better. After our massage, I had a facial with Abby. She as well, listened to my needs and gave me the most spectacular & soothing facial with an equally easy & relaxed conversation. It felt wonderful to be taken care of to such a degree.
