It's a miserable place. There is no one I would pick but Dave and his team if I ever encounter something like this again. I was victimized by a sophisticated bank fraud where my account was hacked and compromised online. Initially, my bank credited the loss, then months later reversed course and left me facing a five-figure negative balance they claimed I owed. Essentially trying to pin the loss on me falsely. It was overwhelming feeling and I didn't know where to turn for my specific case. I could not find anyone local to me in the upstate. I reached out to Dave and his team to ask about what steps were needed. After flagging down the resources he needed to understand my case, Dave took the time (and many back and forth emails) to actually understand my situation and explain my rights under federal consumer protection law in plain English. The most important thing that stood out to me in my interaction with Dave was how he was honest and clear about expectations. He never overpromised. From the first conversation he was realistic about the challenges, the likely range of outcomes, and how the process would work. Ultimately, the bank decided to randomly take a 3rd look at my case and resolved it in my favor literally the same day Dave was putting together the materials to send on my case. While it was a great result for me, it was unfortunate for the practice, who reaped no benefit from that result. I was really impressed with how he took that news and was genuinely happy things resolved themselves in my favor. To me, I felt that I should repay his guidance and straightforward approach by spreading the truth about his professionalism and my experience here.
