I am a lifelong athlete, play competitive tennis at high level and as I have gotten older, recovery clearly has become more of a challenge. I had cut back a few years back on Restore due to a relocation and only so many Health & Wellness activities can be supported at a time. Anyway, this past summer, i walked by the Restore in Stamford, i saw my old friend Duane who is now District Manager. he showed me the new cryotherapy chamber and some of the other changes made at this facility. I signed up for a monthly package of 14 treatments and began to use before tennis matches this summer. When i was in Fairfield area, I went to the Restore up there which is also superbly run. I started with the new cryo chamber at 2 1/2 minutes andnow do the full 3 1/4 time...Incredibly great. I ask for the same song every time, "Under Pressure" by David Bowie and Queen because when I am doing my steps in this chamber, i sure feel Under Pressure! Then i come out and feel amazing. Interestingly, I started winning all my tennis matches before cryo! It just put me in such a positive frame. I now do red light regularly as well as the compression therapy which is very soothing. I have tried the sauna....still need to do better and with winter coming, I will do so, The staff at Westport is terrific and I do not know all their names but walking into Stamford earlier, i was greeted by people who really like what they do and make me feel very welcome. Melanie is a sweetheart; Cinzia put me in the cryo chamber today and is always smiling. Ella is a pro. AnnaLisa very nice. If you are super athletic and want to work on recovery, I highly recommend. I have done IV treatments in the past and the team of nurses (Julie Cebo and others) is top notch!

Please don't waste your money on the cryp slimming or cryotoning, it doesn't work, they kept on…read moretelling me you just had 2 sessions you need to wait till you do the 3rd and the 4th session. I have done 5 sessions costing me $1500! Not even a cm off my waistline!! I'm positive there's no effect even after 5 sessions because I did not gain weight, and my waistline remained the same. We showed up at 11:15 AM and followed the signs to park and in designated area. We called to make them aware we were in the lot and we were told to put on our "flashers" which we did. At 12 noon no one had come to perform the COVID test so we called again and once again were told they were on the way out. In the meantime another vehicle showed up with a ca full of people to be tested, and they parked in the middle of the lot. Finally, at 12:45 PM a man appeared to do the testing and promptly walked over to the car with several people parked illegally rather than to our vehicle which was parked in designated area for 1 and a half hours WITH AN APPOINTMENT. My wife exited coir car and called to him "excuse me" at which time the nurse "Chris" became aggressive with my wife. He stepped towards her with his hand in her face and yelled "BACK OFF"! He refused to listen to her and after witnessing his abusive and insulting behavior, I confronted "Chris" with THE FACTS at which time he threatened to call police and stated "now I refuse to perform the COVID test so leave". This individual "Chris" was confrontational with my wife and more so with myself. I contemplated calling the Stamford Police but my wife was too upset. Fortunately we received a call from a young woman named Lisa who apologized and came outside to perform the COVID test. I would not only recommend finding another testing site, but hope that Murphy prevents "Chris" from ever attending to patients in the future.

I'm very disappointed with my experience at this dermatology office. I never even got to see the…read moredoctor because the staff insisted that I leave a credit card on file before anything else, supposedly in case the insurance did not pay. The strange part is that they never verified my coverage with the insurance company first. In most medical offices, the staff checks benefits, co-pays, and coverage details directly with the insurance provider using the billing codes. That is literally part of their job. Instead, they wanted ME to call and figure everything out myself, even though I already provided my insurance card. I explained that I was not comfortable leaving a credit card without knowing exactly what would or would not be covered. Leaving a card on file without verification feels like giving a blank check. Everyone knows insurance companies often do not pay 100% of inflated medical charges, and patients can end up receiving surprise bills. The staff kept pushing paperwork and forms on a tablet instead of doing their own verification work. I found the process extremely unprofessional and incompetent. In all my years dealing with doctors' offices, I have never been told that verifying insurance coverage was my responsibility. Unfortunately, I wasted my time and left without seeing the dermatologist. I'm sorry to leave this review, but I think people should be very careful before signing forms or leaving a credit card without clear information first.
