A Personal consultant with the treatment specialist and Marie herself was very informative and helpful to assist me in my decision of beauty treatments. After my experience here I received a txt message to review the location, did not seek out writing this review but was asked so here's my experience. Had an appointment for a HYDRO FACIAL with my specific facialist. Received emails and text messages to confirm, I confirmed to both. When I arrived they told me that I called and canceled my appointment. Pulled up the email and text to prove I didn't cancel and they said "no problem we'll book you in" I'm brought into a room by a women who was behind the desk (and later I could not find her on their website w/credentials) Waiting for my facialist to come in and same women who brought me into the room comes and tells me she will be doing my facial. Seeing I'm unhappy/nervous the owner comes back to tell me that my facialist, was not in today but XYZ will give me a great facial for free and I can come back another time when my facialist was in. ... I wasn't told my facialist was out or even given the choice of rescheduling before I was already half naked in the bed. Unfortunately I did not receive a hydro facial either. No extractions, no steam, it was 2 face masks and a rub down. I was not told I wouldn't be able to get the facial I booked, I felt my time was wasted and if given the choice I would have liked to just reschedule and leave. I went here for Botox and lip fillers. It was my first time for both. I saw Amanda. My first visit I received Botox. I'm happy with the results but had a headache for 1 week! I wanted to think about the lip fillers but was pressured by the receptionist to put down a non-refundable deposit to reserve the appointment. Two weeks later I came to do the Botox recheck and to do the lip filler. The agreement was that I would purchase 1ml of filler but only half of it would be used on that day. If I liked the look then they would leave it at that, otherwise I could have the rest of it injected 2 weeks later. I was thrilled with this idea as I didn't want to have huge duck lips! Well, Amanda ended up putting almost the whole half a ml in my top lip!!! My upper lip was huge compared to my bottom lip so of course two weeks later I need the rest injected into my bottom to even it out. The worse part is now I have huge lumps in my bottom lip. It's been a week. I know they will eventually go away, but this occurs when the injector is not skilled. Please be smarter than me and go somewhere else! read more

Very clean beautiful space. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable but I always get the feeling that they are all sell sell sell and not necessarily looking out for your best interest. I went in for a consultation for a few different services- one of them was melasma on my forehead. My lady immediately recommended IPL (and nothing else) which is very costly. After leaving my NP actually told me IPL could make melasma worse because it gets triggered by heat and that's a big risk. The lady at Versailles never mentioned this to me. I ended up purchasing a bikini line laser package. They are very strict about the dimensions for the areas, and will not do any extra for you even though you're paying a lot of money. While leaving, the girls at the front desk were pushing products on me and wouldn't take no for an answer after I nicely declined multiple times, which was uncomfortable. read more

Since getting a facial is a guilty pleasure, I was disappointed in my last two facials at Versailles (both with the same person). The technician was more focused on selling me additional services (microdermabrasion, etc.) than on making my facial an enjoyable experience. I understand the desire to share other offerings but that commentary shouldn't last the entire hour and be so strong that it detracts from the experience. The rest of the staff are lovely and very professional so I will continue to go there for other services but if I return for a facial it will be with a different technician. read more

The staff made be few so comfortable from the start and then when I had my service done, they did it with professionalism and perfection and made sure I was beyond satisfied. I heard about the Versailles Medical Spa in Darien, Connecticut from my daughter in California. I wanted to have a microblading procedure done and was trying to find the best place. She researched and told me this is where I needed to go, for what I wanted. She was absolutely right. Everyone in the office is very professional and friendly. Maria performed the microblading and was wonderful and exact. The whole process called for a first visit to discuss the procedure, then 2 more two hour procedures. I was very pleased with the results after the first procedure. Today was the final procedure and I am looking forward to how perfect my brows will be in the next 30 days. My sister had been raving about the "new" microblading technique for over a year, and when she decided to come into town last weekend we decided to finally pull the trigger. After a lot of research about who is *the* person in the area, my sister said "Marie is our girl". We called only a week before to schedule the procedure for both of us and we were told Marie was booked but that they would call us back if they could work out a time. They called us back for a 9am appointment on a Saturday, but encouraged a consultation before. Because my sister was flying into town on Friday night it was not possible. She felt confident in Marie and said "none needed. We can do it same day." To say I was nervous was an understatement! I have always been "eyebrow poor" since the overplucking of the 90's and don't have the lifestyle it takes to take the time to draw them in "naturally". But I trusted in my sisters research. And neither she or Marie disappointed! The spa is beautiful, clean and zen. Marie has a great bedside manner and makes you feel at ease. She took the time to give us both a consult on the spot, going through every detail. She numbed us up and we waited a bit for it to kick in. I will leave the exact details out, but I will say it was not pleasant but it wasn't painful either. Very tolerable. I am now post-procedure day 4 and people at work have been obsessed with my eyebrows! I work in the operating room, where all anyone ever sees is my eyes and eyebrows and was super self conscious. Even surgeons I stand literally 5 inches away from said "something's different" but could not pin point. I thought it was very obvious but others just saw a better me! Ha! Word is out now that I had my Eyebrows done by Marie and people look at mine daily and the progress. I still can't wash them off for another 3 days, but I will post an update pic when it happens. As for now, the daily compliments of "ohhhh wow your eyebrows just get better and better every day" make me feel a bit strange but just goes to show, good eyebrows will make or break you! From my young daughter: I think that people should go to Versailles Medical Spa because the workers there are very caring and kind, and try to make you comfortable when you are getting your treatment. For example, when I go there for laser, she puts a pain relief cream on my upper lip so that the laser does not shock and hurt me. The worker who takes care of me remembers to put that on me so I am not in pain during the appointment. I also think that people should go to Versailles Medical Spa because when you go for your appointment, they help you to stay calm and tell you that you do not need be nervous while you are in your treatment. For example, when I go there, the women tells me that I will be done with the appointment soon and that the laser does not hurt that much. Thankfully, they are always right. The women do such a quick yet fantastic and painless job that I am out in no time. If someone asked me if I know of a wonderful place to go to for laser, I would recommend Versailles Medical Spa. Marie is amazing!! She is very patient and takes her time to understand exactly what you want. I'm a perfectionist and a bit complicated and she never showed any frustration, just patience and understanding, she is a perfectionist too!! Her goal was to make me happy, she treated me like I was her own daughter. I had very unruly and uneven brows that were almost impossible to pencil in evenly but ever since getting microblading with Marie I don't touch my eyebrows at all in the mornings. I really hope that my hair growth slows down much more. I was in recently for treatment recommendations for sagging skin. Amanda went over multiple treatments that they offered and I ended up going with the nova threads. I've contemplated facelifts, neck lifts, half face lifts for years now but I'm a bit of a scaredy-cat when it comes to going under the knife. Amanda said this was a great alternative and offers similar results with no downtime. I didn't believe it but was open to giving it a go. I kid you not, the results were noticeable to me immediately!! I honestly couldn't believe it, even my husband noticed a difference when I got home (I hadn't mentioned this appointment to him prior), and that's when I knew there really was a difference. I sent before and after photos to my children and my oldest daughter replied "what did you have done? You look lifted and tighter, I need that!". It's only been one week to the day and the results just get better and the compliments keep pouring in! I am not sure... I went to the spa for a consultation to do Micro-blading. However, I saw a sign for cool sculpting and received information on both. I made an appointment to do my abs. The staff were very pleasant during my 4 hour stay. However, I am somewhat skeptical on if this procedure actually works. I diet and I exercise so that wont be the issue... but looking at reviews on line I am afraid I may have wasted my money. On another note I was told I would receive a courtesy call the day after my appointment and never did. I just feel like I was important until they received my money and after was forgotten about. I will repost in 3 months to let you know if the advertisement is true or this was just another spa experimenting and a waste of my $$$. See you in late April. Since my other review was removed for not enough details about my costumer experience... I'm back here to make clear that overall my experience was good. It's a very nice spa, kind and well educated workers. But I went there and asked for a natural look eyebrows permanent makeup and ended up having a dark solid tattoo instead. I know that the spa is now offering what I first wanted. But at that time they had convinced me that the solid thing would be a better choice instead telling the true that they were not able to do what I was asking for. I made an appointment today to have a consult with Marie who does the micro blading. I was really looking forward to this to not have to pencil my eyebrows in any longer. I told them that I had an hour drive to get there. When I got there I was led to a room and waited...the nurse came back in and told me that Marie was not in, I was not told this on the phone and made a long trip for nothing. It's Unfortunate that I have to write this Bad Review, but I want to help anyone who is seeking to get Cool Sculpting to Not Do It!. I am a physically fit person, but have problem areas that no matter how hard I worked out. And showed little improvements to my overall look. I initially went in just to Versailles for Lymphatic Messages for my legs, which was Great. And because I had bought two full packages, they offered me an additional service for a Disc. on CoolSculpting. I was looking into because my aunt and a friend was thinking about getting it done. So I figure since I had done Cryo Therapy in the past for Fibromyalgia relief elsewhere; That I had hope to see great results. Got to say, It hurt like hell during the process of it and the out come was NOT successful. For the 1st month in my stomach had a lot of tightness and swelling, in which they said would happen. By the 4 month I was suppose to go in for photos to see the results of a flatter tummy. I didn't go back because not only did my stomach still look swollen, I look like a was 5 months pregnant. This is something that you might see on like an episode of Botched. I thought I had a stomach / Gastro issues, to found out that it was the outcome of doing the Cool Sculpting. My Health dr.said I have what is called Paradoxical Adipose Hyperplasia. Which is the overgrowth of the fatty tissues that I formed and harden (like scar tissue) and is very Lumpy. After finding this out, I was told was the only way to help the visibility of it and to stop the process of it getting worse, was to do Lipo or a Tummy Tuck. I had reached out to my Plastic surgeon, who I trust 100% completely, because of my Breast Cancer reconstruction. He had told me that he was not surprised that I had this, because he had 4 prior cases within the last 5 months who had done the Cool Sculpting at this same facility. I urge you at this Spa, to stop doing this to anyone else. It will cost me a fortune to have Lipo done, just to make me look as normal as I possible can again. : { read more
