With that said, I have no doubt the 1 star reviews are 100% accurate. The owner is terrible at CS and has always been that way. But I don't really care. I need a trailer that works and he always has them. Just don't expect a pleasant man. He's been doing the same boring job every day for over 30 years. So if you need to be appreciated as a trailer rental customer then go somewhere else but if your fine just renting a well maintained trailer and paying a fair price these guys do that well.

Original review date: 05/02/2020…read more Sent my wife down there with my Touareg TDI (Diesel equipped SUV) with a factory tow rating of 7700 lbs to pick up a trailer so that we can move 2 queen beds and a dresser and the associated framing of the beds. Total weight should be under 4000 lbs with the trailer. This particular tow package from VW allows for weight distribution if necessary. It's in the manual and on the factory tow hitch sticker. The gentlemen told my wife that he "doesn't have anything" to rent since the Touareg has a "short wheelbase". The wife leaves and calls me. I tell her to turn around and go back. I tell that same gentleman (via phone call) that this vehicle is rated to tow a maximum of 7700 lbs from the factory and that it is a diesel equipped vehicle which enables the higher tow capability. He tells me that he "HAS NOTHING for that wheelbase." I ask him "So, you don't have any 6 footers, 8 footers, 10, footers as it sounds like you don't have 14 or 16 footers in stock?" He replies (via phone): "No, I have nothing at all. Have a good day". He hands the phone back to my wife and she get back into the Touareg. I ask her to snap a photo or two of everything he has on the lot at the time she leaves. She does. Attached to this review are the trailers that he "Doesn't have in stock" or "The wheelbase is too short"... I have in the past (going back to 2007), have showed up with trucks shorter than my Touareg, longer than my Touareg and the same size as my Touareg. No issues renting back then.....I guess this guy knows more than VW, the dealership, and me....but I suspect if I show up with the F450, I might get either a "that's too big of a truck for the trailer" or "Sure I will rent to you". This is not my first time at this business nor do I appreciate being lied to by this business. Guess this guy doesn't want to rent to anyone who doesn't have a dedicated HD truck or a truck that "looks like it will tow his trailers". Guess this will be the last time that I take any vehicle over to him to rent one of his trailers. For reference, VW (the manufacturer) does state that these vehicles can easily tow 12 foot trailers but do NOT recommend trailers beyond 24 feet so long as the tongue weight, total weight and load is all under the limit and properly distributed. To the owner, do not bother trying to talk you way out of this ....I know from speaking with your spouse on the phone prior to sending my wife over that you had some things going on, hence the limited hours. Understand and respect the situation. I don't respect the lies or deception.

I also asked for the price and they confirmed $479.99 and they also provided the price of the model up for SR200. I drove 30 min to purchase it and they asked if i would like them to test out the unit to ensure everting worked? I said yes and this is one of the reasons I like punching from them is they register for warranty, test and i support local business. Unit fired up, during checked he said total was $600ish? I immediately said the price was $479.99 and their website shows that price and that was the price given when i called. He asked if was still on sale and I said I have no idea but that why a called to confirm inventory and price. He asked who I spoke to and I did not get a name but he would find out who i spoke to. He found the person I spoke to and he said they can't honor the price he gave me for 479.99 because there was a miscommunication? I asked what the miscommunication was when he said what the price was 479.99? He stated they can't sell it at that price and walked away. What piss poor customer service not to honor the price they have on webpage and after confirming that was the correct price. This is bait and switch and I can understand not always updating your website but that's why I called and asked for the price and inventory. Very disappointing after driving 30 min to support local Austin business and then 30 min to return home.

The blower started, but the shutoff switch didn't work--something as basic as turning it off had to be done using the choke. Clearly, even the simplest repairs weren't completed. I returned both items and was told the work was under warranty with no additional charges. However, when I went to pick them up, they attempted to charge me again. Only after I pushed back did they release the mower without an added fee. Unfortunately, the mower still didn't work. I spoke with the shop manager and asked for a refund--he declined. Total waste of time and money. Zero stars if I could give it. Avoid this shop.

I rented it for a week and had to add an extra day, which was no problem. The trailer was EXACTLY the right size, fortunately I was hauling a small sports car and there was really about 3 inches to spare on each side. But it worked perfectly for me. Only 20 miles from work (where we needed to use the truck), so fairly convenient location. Sometimes I fly in for a show or convention and we don't have a truck available, and this Enterprise location will be my first choice. I'm sure we will work together again soon.
