From Jesse's diagnosis, it was clear the wisest thing to do would be buy a new computer. I bought an Apple refurbished Macbook and he was able to load the older OS version (don't want any AI), advise me on email and iCloud as well as a bunch of other things. Once the part was ordered the tech Richard came to my house and fixed it right at my dining room table. It was quite affordable and my laptop works wonderfully now! Easy and convenient and he even ran scans to make sure it was performing its fastest free of charge. I was very happy with the service and should the need arrive I will contact them again :)
