Exceptional food, splendid! simply splendid service! Each entre was perfectly prepared My compliments to the chef! Thank you for such an incredible experience. The food was amazing. We had beignet for starters which were a perfect start for this foodie adventure. The Chef made some suggestions and we agreed. We ordered cod fish and steak, both were delicious. He also helped us with our wine choices too. We finished our dinner with an assortment of desserts and coffee. Charming little restaurant with fantastic service and food. Pre fixe menu, but specializes in cassoulet, and it's delicious. Owner was glad to speak broken English to help me. Enjoyed a lovely spread of olives, along with truffle salt, pepper, and olive oil with bread to get started. A couple glasses of delicious Portuguese wine, top notch cassoulet, and a special dessert completed my meal.. All in all, a simply wonderful lunch in Colombes during the middle of the work day! This is a hidden gem we found on Yelp while passing through Paris. One of the best meals we had on our trip. The owners and chef were very friendly, the restaurant was charming, and the food was great. Loved the Steak Portuguese and the Pastel de Nata (custard tarts). The Portuguese Chourico appetizer grilled at the table was also a favorite. Finished the meal off with a toast to our hosts. Would definitely go again and highly recommend! read more

This is a wonderful little local restaurant. They are out of the way in the middle of a neighborhood. I very much enjoyed meeting the owner, the chef and the various people that stopped in to either have a drink or pickup take-away their dinners. The hospitality is warm and genuine, the food is flavorful, and the place makes it all wonderful. read more

We found this restaurant on a Friday night commute to the airport. Traffic was so heavy, so we decided to stop for dinner. We found Au Petit Chalet using Yelp. After a three course meal special ended with homemade chocolate mousse, all I can say is that this restaurant was one of the best we tried during our stay. The owner, ambiance and food are excellent.
