Fantastic start to our stay in Paris. A few blocks away from the Moulin Rouge on a tiny side street is the 10 table restaurant. A fairly small menu but all the choices sounded tempting. We shared the beautifully presented Veal appetizer and we were off on an enjoyable dinner. The Magret Duck breast was gigantic and delicious as was the "Pasta cooked like risotto". This was orzo in a delicious sauce with pieces of shrimp. Because of the portion sizes we declined having dessert. With 3 glasses of wine, the bill came to around 100 euro. Well worth a try but because of its size be sure to get reservations.

Spots at the bar are very entertaining.

If there's one restaurant in Paris you need to visit with your better half, this is it! Trust me, you'll both leave with a big smile and a happy tummy. Hands down the best restaurant I've been to on my recent trip to Paris. Given that I've also eaten at a Michelin star restaurant and another restaurant ranked even better than Seb'on on Tripadvisor, that's no small feat. Seb'on is a cozy, romantic, family run restaurant. We sat at the bar which I highly recommend as you will be able to watch the chef prepare the dishes right in front of you. We even witnessed a proposal at the table right next to us which of course only added to the local, French, romantic atmosphere. The cherry on top for us was a friend of Seb (the chef) who helped out in the kitchen a bit at times and at other times was a fun conversation partner to us. Turns out he is a former regular customer of Seb'on who found it to be quite difficult to get reservations due to a rising popularity of the restaurant and therefore decided to instead offer his time and help out the chef with the benefit of tasting new creations. Needless to say that the food is absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. Tip: I was able to make reservations through their facebook page.

This gem was exceptional on every level! It's small but the food is outstanding, complete art. The flavors are so good. Quintessential Parisian experience.

We arrived at Seb'on after several drinks in Montmartre with high expectations. This is the #3 rated restaurant in all of Paris on TripAdvisor. This tiny and sparsely decorated restaurant was on our friend's to do list for some time and they jumped at the chance when an opening for 4 was available for a Saturday night. The restaurant is small, narrow, and sparsely decorated with the kitchen in the rear. Check out my pics for our view. We had the only table that sat 4. Everything about the place was comforting and inviting. Even our server who I suspect to be the chef's wife was especially warm and friendly. Wonderful start to our evening! We all gravitated to the same starters: the foie gras and the duck ravioli. The foie gras was superb. Although slightly cold, the ravioli had a wonderful texture and distinctive taste of duck. For the main dish, I had the fish with the German spatzle (noodle) garnished with bacon and my wife had the truffle tagliatelle in parmesan emulsion and topped with speck. It seemed that the menu had a German influence and wonder whether the chef is German... Only complaint, both dishes were too salty. But what do you expect when bacon and speck are used as garnish?! They were both very filling and hearty plates. Dessert left my wife and I a little flat. My wife thought she was getting the white chocolate mousse and I thought I was getting a chocolate cheesecake. Both of them were different from what we expected and neither wowed us. The were both presented well. Check out the pics. Overall, this restaurant was a good experience but didn't blow us away like we were hoping. I think if our friends didn't hype it up and if we didn't go in expecting the #3 restaurant in Paris we would have had a better experience. In comparison to a place like Frenchie is why this place got a 3 star and not 4 or higher.

This was the absolute best cheesecake we have ever had in our entire lives!!!! We will never be able to eat cheesecake again in the US.

We visited Sebon on our last night in Paris. Such a romantic and tiny restaurant. You must make your reservations very early! The restaurant is very small and perfect for you and a guest. I loved being able to watch the chef cook and how organized he was. For the appetizer my husband and I both ordered the shrimp ravioli with a tomato foam. We definitely enjoyed it! I think it could have had a hint more salt and then it would have been absolutely perfect. The shrimp had a delicious fresh flavor. For our entree, I had the seared cod and my husband had gnocchi with seared tuna. I warned him against getting tuna, because it is so hard finding great tuna and this exceeded our expectations. The best we have we have ever had. The gnocchi literally melted in our mouth and was not chewy and dry like most gnocchi is. I tried the gnocchi in just about every European city we have visited and this is by far the best I have ever had. The cod was pretty good, though I wish I ordered the gnocchi and tuna. ;) Now on to the best dessert we have ever had. I cannot tell you how amazing the cheesecake was. We have never in our lives tasted cheesecake so complex. It was creamy, without being thick and just the perfect balance with with various sauces. We would order this a thousand times over! We also orders a delicious bottle of Rose! We definitely enjoyed our meal and Sebon and would visit on our trip back!

My most memorable meal in Paris and pretty reasonable for the quality of food. We shared an entree' and dessert and each had a main as well as a glass of wine each and we paid less than 100. The entre was foie gras which was very good but I had it better in Laduree, the mains was a dish with cod with Gnnochi, it was a hit, very delicately prepared and superb presentation. Dessert was some kind of pineapple and crumble and we finished it so quick the owner Sebastien who also serves here noticed it, but in a super friendly way. This place needs reservations. I was able to do it by sending a message on facebook. Very close from Ankers metro station. Very intimate atmosphere. This is ideal for date nights on a romantic getaway to Paris. Our French hostess recommended it highly.

We had an AMAZING meal at Seb'on - delicious food, great service and an intimate ambiance. The restaurant is small and has less than 10 tables, so if you're making a short visit to Paris, I would recommend making reservations. They're only open for dinner on the weekdays, so I would try to call around 5pm, right before they start dinner service. They speak English and are incredibly accommodating. The menu is simple - 3 options for each course -- app, entree and dessert. My husband and I shared an app and dessert and each ordered an entree. The foie gras is a must try - great texture and flavor. We ordered the seared duck and gnocchi (both were delicious!), but the star of the night really was the dessert. We ordered a caramel cake, poached pear, with pistachio ice cream and foam. It was incredibly decadent and a perfect way to end the meal.

Loved this meal and the service. Gentleman that answered the phone held the table for us as we were leaving the Louvre. Reservations are almost always required for this dining experience. So glad we made it! You are able to watch your meal be prepared in a cozy 10 table atmosphere. Loved everything we had!

    Maigre, excellent dish!

Absolutely the best meal I have had yet in Paris. Simply fantastic service and cuisine. The menu is short: three appetizers, three mains and three desserts. And they are all delicious. We started by sharing a foie gras dish, which was prepared perfectly and accompanied by tomato chutney - one dish was enough for two people. For mains, we got veal filet mignon and maintenance (fish). Both were fantastic, and yet the real highlight in my opinion was the dessert: crème brûlée with chocolate mousse, caramel and ice cream. *Highly* recommended! Note that I reserved a table with a friend a few weeks in advance - they only take reservations twice a week, between specific hours, not the same time that the restaurant is open!

Cheesecake avec palet breton à la pistache, glace orange carotte, caramel beurre salé, et émulsion passion. Incroyable !!

Excellent food. Perfect service. It is actually one of the best restaurants I tried in Paris even if I have lived there for 20 years. The food is fresh and perfectly chosen. The quantity is largely enough, actually one appetizer for two is largely enough ! You really should try the deserts also which are delicious.

Making a reservation isn't hard but you do need to email them and there's no online booking system. You also have to confirm again 1-2 days before. I understand they are small with a limited number of tables so that's fair and it seemed like everyone showed up even though they don't require a deposit. On a Friday night, it didn't appear there was much chance or walking in although there were like 2 open seats at what would have been a shared table. The menu is small and includes some typical French starters, steaks, 3 non steak entrees, cheeses, and dessert. All steaks come with potatoes, 3 sauces, salad. Service was a highlight. The waiter was personable and funny, had solid recommendations, and made sure leftovers were taken home. Also had a solid wine recommendation after asking some questions. They probably get a lot of people who don't speak French and they had no problem speaking English. The food- ordered a ribeye medium rare. The steak was so so charred on the outside and it almost ruined the whole thing. I really wish they would have charred it way less especially when it was ordered medium rare. There is seared and then there is burnt; this was sadly the latter. The steak itself was fine, honestly nowhere near the best meat I have had but the price is quite reasonable for how much you get. I would say the steak was maybe 6/10 for me, largely due to the cooking. The fries were phenomenal. Definitely a highlight and really tasty and with a great texture. Salad was good, pretty typical. I wanted to like the sauces more but found them just okay. The best by far for me was the blue cheese sauce but even this one I thought the flavors could have popped a little more. Atmosphere was fun, there were a few bigger groups (6-8 which is the biggest they accommodate) but it never got unreasonably loud. Overall I wanted to love it but was a bit disappointed even though the service and fries were both great.

We ate too much. It's a lot of food to split the cote de boeuf btn two. Comes with very good chubby fries and 3 sauces. TBH, I didn't love the sauces. Luckily we walked 6miles that day and skipped lunch. Started with a garden salad, but sadly we had no room for dessert. Reservations via email. We should've noticed something was wrong when no one was inside. When the waiter (lone person working along with cook) gave us the menu, my wife and I stared at each other completely confused. The menu looked nothing like the ones on this website and featured Italian food items, like spaghetti, arroz con pollo or mozarella. I asked him about frog legs or the onion soup. He looked confused and just said no. Out of respect for him, we just ordered the charcuterie, which featured stale bread and a few slices of meat taken from my local grocery store in the U.S. Also -- they claimed to not accept any international credit cards.
