The breakfast in the morning was excellent and our loved our Jr Suite. Very spacious and well decorated. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It's the only place is stay in downtown Megeve. We also stayed at Alpaga which is also beautiful (4.5 stars) but is out of town.

It is not often I get out to France, but the gorgeous alps have me wishing for a return. I am not a very good skier, but the many pistes of Mont Blanc offered delightful views. The chalet rooms are comfortable and welcoming and are furnished with traditional wooden, cow-skins and leather which give the feeling of wooden huts. The weather (early September) meant we were able to dine al fresco and the food was amazing. All the staff were friendly,efficient and helpful. The evening activities also meant we were able to enjoy the dancefloor and the bar area. Breakfast was first class with many options for every taste. My only critique is that the rooms are very dark.
