The room was eminently comfortable. The bed was high quality and our kids loved the bunks. I had a great thermal experience at the Sauna, I recommend booking ahead to make sure you have space when it fits with your schedule. I reviewed the restaurants separately but to sum it up high quality, but not cheap. We enjoyed our breakfasts and our dinners. My kids really enjoyed visiting the farm animals and the nice walk to the river beach from the property. Overall this is a great hotel and we hope to return in the future.

Had breakfast there. Samuel was amazing and gave great advice. Spa is very nice. Yoga was very enjoyable. We kept hitting its ears, nose etc overall design of room not very practical but pretty. Clean. Great COVID measures.

Lots of distant road and water traffic to view, without the noise. Quaint decor of oldish furniture. A decent large bed. What is off-putting is the commode, which is part of the large open room, set aside with only a folding screen. Let's just say that privacy is not part of the package. If a person were staying alone in this room, this would not be a problem. It is, otherwise. Put your toilet in your living room and you have an idea. A short drive down the hill takes you into the small town. It was probably a mis-communication, but when I met with the landlord to check out he would only accept cash. We were leaving in the morning, so I had to drive into town to locate an ATM. I did, got the cash and we left early the next day. We thought it was a bit high in cost, given the lack of amenities and privacy. Not recommended. French using English keyboard: Étrange. We were a bit surprised to find out the menu was VERY reasonably priced. Some fancy food for some cheap prices. It turned out there was a reason. While I give some great kudos for effort, their execution lacked. A few of the dishes worked, but many didn't. Hopefully they get it right soon, because there is some great promise.

Very disappointed. First the receptionist tells us that lunch starts at 12:00 and that we needed to…read morewait outside on the sidewalk when it was 11:55. She was very unpleasant and looked like she didn't want to be there. She asks us if we wanted to eat outside or inside but warns us that there's a lot of bees outside! So we decide to eat inside. Inside the restaurant there was a lot a flies and 2 bees... but they still leave the front door open knowing about the situation. Anyways, the most unpleasant part was the service and the food... The waiter forgot about us, serving other people there food and drinks while we sat there patiently waiting. My husband took the salmon, my mom the steak and I took the lobster rolls. The only think that tasted good was the salmon! The brocoli was to undercook, and the lobster rolls were just sad for 30$! (See picture below) the fries were not good at all and the pitcher of beer was not even cold. Refilling other people glasses of water while we didn't have any. I was so hangry that I ate and left... A local suggested this place and said good things about it... Very disappointed
