When dad died the hospital gave us the contact info to Auclairs. Right there is a mistake- the hospitals should hand out a list to choose from and not endorse one funeral home or another. I called Auclairs at first but was made to feel like a bother, a number, a nuisance in fact. I immediately decided to look elsewhere and came across Boule Funeral Home. Owners Tom and Wendy bent over backwards to help me and my handicapped mother. They helped us to save every penny possible and they clearly were not looking to take financial advantage of a grieving family, something I've always feared. We're not wealthy and they made sure we weren't given options that only wealthy families could afford. Tom and Wendy are compassionate, available, connected, and have kind hearts. At one point I had asked to sit with dad before the funeral. I was welcomed to sit there and hold his hand, tears overflowing, until I had all the closure that I needed to move forward- As a nurse, I often get approached by folks who tell me that I have changed their lives in one way or another- that's how I felt with Boule. Normally, I would not think to review, however after having recently had 2 funerals in 2 years at Boule's I feel the need to leave some feedback. Tom is an absolutely astounding human being. In 2017, my family lost my 16 year old sister to health complications. The loss was sudden and left us in an extremely hard place financially, emotionally and mentally. A friend of ours drove my mom to Boule's to speak with Tom. Upon hearing the story of my sister's life and how dedicated my mother was to her, Tom decided to be patient and work out whatever he could to help us give her the services she deserved without feeling pressured to think about the money right away. He was just absolutely kind, I have no words to describe it. More recently, two weeks ago, I lost a childhood best friend. His mom decided to go with Boule. Again, I saw Tom and he remembered my family despite it being two years. He asked questions and was genuinely interested in knowing how we were doing. He and his team did an amazing job with giving my friend one last send off. He even allowed us closer friends to stay an extra 30 minutes because he knew we were having a rough time. My friend was 28, we're all a bunch of "kids" who didn't expect this so suddenly. Again, Tom understanding as always was patient and kind with us and the family. *****Overall, I highly recommend going with this home. These people genuinely care for you, your family and your feelings. They aren't after the money.

We came up with an etching of The Cubs baseball, that was his team. Over the next few months Donna kept in touch with me about the progress and design my siblings and I were looking for. Living in Florida the communications were all done by email. When the stone arrived we changed the design a bit and Donna being the artist that she is, was able to give us a perfect design that fit our Dads personality. They took care of all the details of getting the gravestone set up at St. Marys cemetary in Foxboro. Will be home in next month and will be able to finally see his stone, which all the siblings love! In addition the process is very warm and welcoming. Arrive and walk into the cozy offices and you can get an idea of possibilities along with pricing. Then a walk right outside displays actual products so you can see and touch what you will be purchasing. Stacey works well with helping to select the best fit of product. Prices are very transparent and actually quite reasonable. In addition her office's design work occurs on the spot so you can see what your words will look like in various formats and styles and on different types of stone and polishes. She then provides snapshot samples printed then and there and also by email (and USPS mail). Payment was reasonable with 50% down payment and a very nominal delivery fee. The delivery was TO THE CEMETERY and IN THE GROUND along with removal of old marker. This was great bc it is an emotional action and also very physically demanding due to the stone weight. Lastly the old marker was remioved and transported back to the business. They cleaned and polished it for us to retrieve whenever is convenient. Stacey was beyonf helpful and patient and genuinely caring with my mother in this process. GO ONLY HERE!
