After having the vehicle for 5 hours, my tire popped. Whatever, stuff happens, however I wasn't in my home city, and I couldn't drive my car on a highway so I decided to stop at the closest dealership. First issue, they advertise they are open on Saturdays for service and repair, however don't offer it. Second, they said it would be open at 8am, but didn't open until 9am. So a group of people had to wait on Leslie to wait for the gate to be open. Third, upon being notified that the service department is not open, they said they couldn't do anything for me. I said I am not from around here, and it didn't seem to matter. For a company to promote customer satisfaction, they didn't seem to go above and beyond to assist me. Fourth, when I let them know that I didn't purchase from their dealership, customer service was out the door. They said they could not do anything for me because I didn't purchase from them. Well I think regardless of which Nissan dealership I purchased, I think you should still provide a standard customer service. I understand if your service department isn't open you can't fix my tire. However, how about calling my dealership to see if my tires are under warranty. Or direct me to someone who would be able to replace my tire. I wasn't expecting the world, just help in a poor situation. I believe they need to ensure if they are promoting themselves as number one in customer satisfaction, that they really try to ensure that customers leave feeling satisfied. I am now kind of regretting I purchased a Nissan. Hopefully my home dealership doesn't treat new customers like this.

The day i arranged yo pick it up he was no where to be found. Nothing fixed money already taken from my account and one certified and plated truck that needed almost 1300.00 in brake work. Within a month rust that was painted over showed itself. They are to afraid to talk to me and no thanks to OMVIC for stearing me in the wrong direction. Buyers beware....they will burn you yoo.

Just wanted to share my bad experience with Suzuki of Newmarket (Blake and company)…read more I purchased used 2009 Yamaha waverunner from Suzuki of Newmarket in July 2015. I was told the machine is running perfect mechanically and I believed. I asked them to water test, but they refused it saying they are far from the water. I never thought that dealer like Suzuki of Newmarket can lie about the machine mechanical condition. I signed bill of sale and it stated no warranty provided. I took Yamaha to the lake next day and found that waverunner does not go more that 20 km/h. Took out from water and brought waverunner to a mechanic. The issue was with the supercharge clutch. It was destroyed. it cost me $1500 to fix it (parts and labor). I called Blake back asked him why he was doing this kind business to me and if he wants to help me solve my issue. Answer was I am not going to do anything. I trusted them, but as I can see from my experience never trust people. They are all about money. Ruining reputation is very quick, but build it takes a long long time. I don't think it is the right way of doing the business. I am saying to all my customers and friends to stay away from Suzuki of Newmarket. Not a trusted business. Never will do business with them in future. Stay away from them.

They treated me terribly. After that I went to McAlpine for any further issues where I was treated with wonderfully. Which brings us to today. The check engine light came on, had a local repair shop run the codes and provide the printout. Because they fell under a semi-recall, Ford would be on the hook for repairs. Brought it in, the clerk at service, Diane, was really rude. Was not professional and accused me, the customer, of being unprofessional. The shuttle was waiting, but because she wanted to grind my gears she waited until it had left to finish processing the intake of my vehicle, where she deleted the information that I had given to the clerk over the phone and simple put that the check engine light was on. I asked for an update on another warranty repair and she said that she had no information about it. TL:DR: Don't go to Shanahan for service, go to McAlpine!

This dealership is not recommended at all. The warranty repairs they did on my vehicle failed in 3…read moremonths. At purchase (used 2012 ford Escape with 48,000k) , they tried selling me in-house warranty, (3500 bucks) and didn't disclose the vehicle (with only 50k on it) actually had extended premuim care warranty and I could transfer for 100.00 admin fee. Yet when my air conditioner blew up, they were happy to qoute me almost 4 grand for the repair. Glad I waited, and through my many visits, I was able to see on THEIR computer monitor screen the original owners name the extended warranty was under, and then they STILL tried telling me "I assume they redeemed the warranty when they traded it in. Look, I see it right here - redeemed". After saying "Let's not "assume", how do I find out for sure?" , they reluctantly called Ford Canada and for 100 bucks I got this warranty." Now they had to repair my AC for free, and the transmission got overhauled. I also had them cut me a cheque (after threat of legal action) for any repairs to date that "would" have been covered had they disclosed under the existing warranty they did not inform me of. 3 months later, my front passenger door fell off as I assume the tech did not put the bottom pin on correctly after replacing the AC. My transmission was worse than it was before Shanahan ford did their "repairs" revving at 5000-6000 rpm between 2-3 gear. I took it to another ford Dealer. The new Ford Dealer did some testing and concluded the transmission needed another overhaul. I have also heard many other horror stories from my neighborhood. I filed a formal complaint with Ford Canada against Shanahan Ford, just so it's on record and to save the next person the aggravation. Also - Funny that they indicated they installed a new battery in my vehicle in their "internal" service report (which I was provided by the other dealership) , but did not put that in my service report. There never was, or is any issue with my Battery, and I definitely did not get a new Battery. You've been warned. Avoid at all costs.
