We came from up North to get perviously bought hearing aides and hearing re-checked . From the moment we walked in reception was so kind and friendly offered us coffee or water while we waited to be seen. We were greeted after by April. She reviewed previous hearing aids and gave my mother a full exam. After she reviewed the whole examine and made sure my mother understood what was going on with her hearing (which was declining) She offered us a new innovated pair of hearing aids that are rechargeable, and connect with her phone. April did not rush us out once she fitted my mother with her new devices. She had so much patience, answered every question. April made an appointment for the next day to make sure the devices were working and fitting well. The following day we were late to our scheduled appointment, April went above beyond and stayed in the office and again patiently listened to my mothers concerns adjusted sound and fittings she did not rush. . April is a gem!! Audible Hearing should acknowledge such greatness within their company. I waited a week to get in to see an audiologist for my hearing. I made the appointment with a nice lady on the phone, gave her all of the information that she asked for and set the appointment for today at 2.30. Gave her my email address so that I could pre register, it never came to my In box, spam or any other filter on my email. No problem. When I woke this morning not feeling well, it was too early to call so I responded to the same text that I confirmed my appointment on. Then I read that I need to call them to cancel. I said that I would just go. I go and they tell my that I wanted to reschedule. I said I did send you that text but no one responded,so I should up at my appointment. The lady who was originally so nice, turned into a Karen insisted that she responded to my text, with a text. I showed her my text and she said that I must have erased it by mistake. I said, really? It says that you take walk-ins so why do I need to make an appointment? She replied, because you do! Terrible business attitude! I said thanks but no thanks! read more

I've been using hearing amplifiers for yrs from Amazon, not happy with most of them. Went into the Port Richey, office, talked to Scott Smith at length, found him to be a very helpful, competent and professional audiologist, answered all my questions, did the exam, and ordered me just what I needed. After wearing the behind the ear model, I thought I might like the in the ear type, and after telling Scott that, he promptly ordered them and I ended up buying them also. I switch back and forth, depending on my activity for the day. When on my boat, taking sun glasses off and on, I wear the in the ear model. Otherwise, it's behind the ear. as advertised these guys are great and customer friendly. I had older Starkey hearing aids and it was time for replacement (I also had costco top of the line aids but they are not as good as Starkey). I thought I wanted a behind the ear hearing aid and they fitted me for that but before delivery an ENT dock friend of mine suggested I would be better served with their 2400 in canal custom. Audibel was happy to make the switch even though they had the behind ear ready for delivery. The audiologist was efficient competent patient and explained everything very well. I have used Audibel hearing aids for about 15 years and they improve the technology with each new pair. The Audibel hearing aids have good lasting durability. In my opinion, their best feature is the great hands on, expert service provided by their local staff. Maggie Saunders, New Port Richey has exceeded my previous Specialists in Tennessee, and they were all very good. Maggie provided the most thorough examination I've had anywhere and tweaked my hearing aids to the max. After many years of use, one of mine failed and she worked with me and my wife offering professional advice on repairing or replacing with newer improved technology. She was never high pressure, just provided the facts and let us decide. I opted for the new DaVinci in the canal model with many improved features my old aids didn't offer. This place is the best, by far. I have dealt with my hearing loss for many years. This is the only place where they did not push the newest and most expensive aid on the market. Maggie was professional, and took the time to get to know me and understand my concerns. We discussed where and when my hearing loss is most frustrating and difficult for me. And once I purchased my hearing aid, I went back almost weekly to tweek or add on services offerred. The front office ladies are also professional and very helpful. In my case, "Woohoo! As good as it gets" is not an overstatement. I am a travel and culture writer, and while in Buenos Aires, Argentina, I lost one of my hearing aids when I removed my sunglasses one afternoon. I contacted this store in Port Richey where I had originally bought my hearing aids, and they arranged to send me a replacement, and in ten days my replacement, properly calibrated for my hearing, arrived at Argentina's Customs in Buenos Aires, 6,000 miles away. To make a long story short, I was informed by Argentina Customs that it would require a $1,000 cash bribe to get my hearing aid. So I told them to return my hearing aid to the Sender (Audibel in Port Richey). In retaliation for refusing to pay a bribe, It took Argentina Customs five months to return my hearing aid to Audibel. Audibel kept it for me until I informed them when I was returning to Florida, and when I got home my hearing aid was delivered to my front door, in perfect working condition, and without charge. Federal Express however charged me over $100 for "storage" in Argentina and return shipping. I cannot express how much it meant to me to deal with such honest, competent, conscientious, and caring people like Candace, Elizabeth, and the specialists Maggie and Michelle at the Port Richey, FL Audibel office. Even though I have yet to meet these folks, they stay in touch and inquire about how their product is performing for me.
