When I first called to get an appointment for my wife and I, I asked if they accepted Superior vision insurance, the rep I spoke to said flat out no. I called again, rep stated yes absolutely, she did not know why I was told no. We got our appointments, staff in office was fantastic, Dr had super bedside manners and eyeglass store was fantastic. I told her we would call back with our Care Credit account number to purchase 2 pairs of glasses. I have been now trying for 6 hours to call them, keeps going to voice, left about 5 messages, no return call yet... I called from desk, someone names i think Mitzee, she stated they are short handed - (THIS IS NOT MY ISSUE).I am a customer and expect to be treated better. When I called to make my appointment I made sure they could do a medical eye visit for an eye condition and update my eye glasses at the same time which would mean billing my 2 different insurances since I have a different insurance for vision. I was told this was not a problem and I did not need to make 2 different appointments even though I offered to. After being seen today I was told I had to pay out of pocket for my vision exam because they would not bill 2 different insurances. I even told the nurse that took me back that the 2 insurances had to be billed and she also said not a problem that the front staff would handle that. I did my due diligence by asking ahead of time and at time of visit and then still ended up paying out of pocket when I have insurance because they do not train their employees properly. Ordered and paid for glasses 4 weeks ago and have had no luck in hearing back. They do no reply to my messages. Very disappointed.

My long distance view was blurry. I made an appointment to adjust this situation and receive a new set of lenses from another company free. I explained the blurry long distance to Dr. Williams I could not read street signs. He gave me a half of you know what exam. Does this look better or worse two times changing lenses and that was it! during the exam he did something and collapsed the machine on my face and head. Lockley I was not hurt. After that, he said I am not going to write you a new prescription. Like it or not, that is my decision. I was dumbfounded. He never explained why. He repeated what he said like it or not that is my decision. He was very rude. I now have a pair of glasses sitting in my draw. I now have no glasses and out of over $300.00. You can tell because he takes the extra 10-15 minutes to explain what is happening with your eyes instead of just telling you what you need and giving you a bill. I visited Rowan Eye Center for the first time. While there were some delays, I enjoyed Dr. Rowan and his assistant. My disappointment came when I went to the lady who sees to the making of glasses. She said that I would have to leave my glasses with her for a week. I mentioned that I have never had to do this. She repeated this again with no explanation as to why this was necessary. As I was beginning to get upset with her contentious attitude, I left. She needs to stop being so impressed with herself and develop "people skills." I took my prescription to another firm and the person explained that with newer and more advanced procedures, they need to have my frames present so that the laser can cut the lenses perfectly.
