It was an old analog organ from 1984 right before the digital instruments were coming out. The church had not treated the instrument well and kept some of the speakers. I just wanted it for a practice instrument in my home. But the speakers did not work right and I hardly ever used it in over 14 years because it did not sound good, speakers would come off and on randomly, and it made loud popping sounds. I had a service person (from another company) look at it several times and, although he solved some problems, he never got it working right. Jason Rodgers came yesterday and got it sounding as good as new in less than an hour. And the price for his service call was good. Now I can practice without making a 40 mile round trip to my church. It still is an old analog instrument and does not sound like the new digital ones, but now it works like the day it was made and after 14 years of collecting dust in my house, it is playable and I can practice on it daily. Church Organ Gallery can sell you a new state-of-the-art instrument, but they also can repair an old model. This saved me a lot of money.

The folks at the store were always courteous and worked out issues related to doing last minute repairs and fulfilling reed orders. Their oboe camps are an entirely different animal. We recently had a major family event happen on the west coast that we had to fly out for. This event would keep us there for four days, and we would've missed the majority of our Oboe Camp reservation. So we emailed the director to cancel it. We were offered an alternative week to attend, but that was already reserved for another week-long camp we had reserved. At that point, we were told that we couldn't get refunded because of the policy agreement that was shown at the time of purchase. The main justification was to fund the instructors that were running the camps, and their associated costs. All fine and well, but these camps are always selling out every year. There's no shortage of demand for them. If one person is asking for a refund because of a major, family member passing-type of family event, the policy still stands? It stinks. If you're looking for a good shop to get hand-made reeds from, and a great staff to work with when it comes to oboe repair and finding the right products, than Bocal Majority is a good place to go. However, I would steer far away from the Camps. They clearly value profits and revenue over people in that regard, and your money and kids' attention is better spent elsewhere.

Jay is so down-to-earth and easy to talk to, you'll want to be his friend. Every visit I've made to the store is a fond memory (even the times I didn't buy anything). The first time I visited the store, my son was 1.5 years old. I was a little worried about shopping around other people (the first Covid lockdown had just ended), so Jay generously offered to let me come in half an hour before the store opened for a private experience. My son got so anxious and frightened about being in a new environment that he threw up. Jay was unbelievably calm, gracious, and prepared. He had the floor clean in about a minute, and offered coloring books/cookies/toys to my wailing son -- all while reassuring me that he had a son the same age, and wasn't the least bit bothered. Obviously I had to cut this visit short, but Jay offered to text me pictures or videos of any pieces I wanted to see, or to meet another time at an outdoor environment if that would be less stressful for my son. Szor's jewelry selection is thoughtfully curated, and runs the gamut from more feminine to more masculine pieces. Items tend to feature less common materials (opals, moonstone, 24k gold). Designers include Barbara Heinrich, Petra Class, Atelier Zobel, and Denise Betesh. The online shopping experience is also excellent (they put a lot of time into their website and social media), but there are pieces in the store that aren't featured on the website, so it's worth visiting the shop if you can. This is definitely a small business that inspires loyalty, and I recommend them very highly.

These guys know what their doing, NO BS just strait truth, no up selling or manipulation. I observed several visitors and everyone was treated with the highest customer service. If your looking for tubes, knobs, parts this place is well stocked. One guy was looking for an "Amp" guy and instead of trying to talk him into bringing it to them they referred him out. They work on amps but this situation called for a different approach.
