The shop had closed about 30 minutes prior, but the owner was still inside, lights and sign on, and he welcomed us inside. What a nice, nice man!! He was on the telephone with his mother (who lives very far), and he was so attentive, welcoming, and informative with us. He had a good selection of just about anything you could want, everything was decently priced, and he knew his stuff about all the products. We ended up leaving with a very nice glass bong, and hemp cones, and the owner was so appreciative that we came by after hours -- and I kept thinking, "goodness this man is genuine! WE appreciated you dude!" I live about 25 mins from this smoke shop, but I will definitely drive out here for the friendly, personal customer service experience!

I don't normally leave reviews like this but the way these guys just carried themselves was not ok…read more I stopped in to see if they had a specific vape juice but upon entering I see such a selection and immediately am interested in looking around..but I was quickly stopped and asked what I needed and I responded "I'd like to take a look around first if that's ok?" And his response was immediately rude for no reason saying they were not open to the public and only do wholesale pickups. I pointed out that their were 5-6 other people in the store looking around and then I was told to leave. So I did, and on my way out I stopped and took a picture of their human sized decal in the front window that can be seen from the street that says "open to public" because after how aggressive this guy was I planned to talk to the owner about this employee. But then it only got worse because the owner apparently came out the front door being very aggressive asking if there's a problem and saying we could "handle it" he was being very threatening and completely un professional. After he confirmed he was the owner I had zero interest in even continuing the conversation because it was very obvious he didn't want my business but it all just really caught me off guard I've never been treated this way at all and by a business at that! No! Beware of this place!

After 20 years as a loyal, dues paying member of Addison Cigar, I have canceled my membership. For…read moremany years the former manager of the club, Mark Bartlett, created a welcoming atmosphere, a fun environment, and truly build a sense of community. Mark wasn't the greatest businessman in the world, and we members put up with the lacking ventilation, dirty bathrooms, old furniture, and other shortcomings because of Mark......we knew how much he loved us and that shop. Since his unfortunate passing the owner has brought in a new manager and the words "customer service" or "member" are not part of his vocabulary. Numerous changes have been implemented that make us all feel more like a number than a member, but the most egregious came last Thursday when I walked in the shop and the poker table where I and a number of other members gathered a few days a week to play some cards had been taken out. No warning, no conversation, no explanation. When I initiated a discussion with the manager, he basically told me that my and our opinions did not matter, as we are "just members". After 20 years, we were cast aside like some dirt off the bottom of your shoe. I hate to say it but I, as well as about another 15+ members have quit our memberships. It has been a sad week and this has been very difficult to write.
