Sound Space and its incredible founder Nick is amazing. I'm not the best at practicing all the time and as a child I was notorious for quitting extracurriculars (classic Millennial). Well, almost a year later, I'm dedicated to my weekly lessons with Nick. His studio is an intimate space for fostering creativity and collaboration, and I can't say enough about his teaching style. He is encouraging, patient, talented, and depending on what you'd like to learn, he can run through heavy music theory or help you figure out how to play your own stuff. He really tailors lessons around your own goals. I brought in some difficult starter music and instead of telling me to start with something easier, he helped me pick it apart and take it piece by piece so I could eventually play what I wanted. I highly recommend Sound Space and hope to see Nick's business grow - it's so incredibly inspiring seeing someone so passionate about what he does (and a wonderful person, to boot) become a blossoming success at his dream. So well deserved; I'm privileged to be a part of it.

Emilio went above and beyond in helping me make a decision by providing photos and feedback on the guitar. He was patient as I asked quite a few questions . In a world where everyone is trying to make a sale, I felt Emilio was professional, honest, and accommodating. I highly recommend Emilio for any of your guitar or bass needs.

I needed ukulele strings because I just inherited two ukuleles from my dad who recently passed away, and I'm going to learn how to play them better. I was looking for replacement strings, including low G for a tenor ukulele. Guitar Center didn't have the strings in stock, but I could look for them at the online Guitar Center site. I did find replacement fluorocarbon strings for my new (at least new to me) soprano ukulele. If you're looking for regular musical instruments that you could play in a rock band, such as keyboards, guitars, drums, and their accessories, instrument cases, music stands, speakers and amps, you could probably find it here and at different price points. The employee that I asked for assistance in locating where the ukulele replacement strings knew exactly which aisle to walk me to, but two other employees didn't seem to want to use the register to ring up my purchase so I could leave, making me wait until a third employee walked up to ask if I was ready to check out. After I said yes, he walked to get another employee to help me. At the end of the sale transaction, the employee thanked me. I just stood there looking at him. That's when he asked, "Didn't I give you your receipt?" I replied, "Yes, but you didn't give me my strings that I just paid for." In the short time that I was at the register, the employee managed to hide the strings from himself and it took him a few seconds to find them.
