I would never use this company again. We hired them to do some gutter repair/installation and, without asking or telling me they were going to do it, they tore the top off my back gate. I would have understood if they had asked permission and explained why it was necessary (I was home at the time so it would have been easy), or if they had done a conscientious job of it so it could easily be put back. Instead they tore it off leaving jagged pieces of wood and didn't mention it. So disrespectful and uncaring. Screw these people. Rude over the phone, too. read more

It's been a little while since I used Audubon and I did have a few issues but as they put new gutters on my house in 2006, I will cut all of us some slack. My gutters were damaged slightly in the Katrina mess; then the temporary roof repair guys damaged the more (both times); then the real roofers trashed them. So new gutters. While it was a bit of an ordeal to get any workers at the time, the guy who came out to install the gutters gave us the heads up about some serious sill damage near our roof line and we had that repaired (by another contractor as it was too large of a job for them to do) then they came back and installed the final bits. Good selection of styles and colors and they were good communicators throughout the process. read more

I felt so lucky that my car wasn't hit by the glass bottles that were being thrown from truck number 24 as I drove behind them on Jefferson Highway. I was able to see them throwing their garbage into a person's yard from their truck that was speeding by. Have no idea about their service but would not hire garbage people to do a job. read more

I used Audubon Gutters to install some basic, seamless gutters on my house. They did a great job. I've been a little worn down from contractors not meeting my expectations lately: being late, leaving a dirty job site, doing shoddy work, etc. None of that happened with Audubon. When I saw the final product, I was literally stunned at how good it all looked. When there was a small hiccup with the install (they encountered rotted wood, couldn't put the downspout where we planned), the salesman himself went out to the job site to take pictures & send them to me so we could discuss options to get the job back on track. Audubon Gutters was effortless and awesome, from start to really really close to finish. John came out and did the estimate, and showed me different types of gutters so I knew what I was selecting. An engineer came out and verified that the job could be done (we never even knew he came - effortless!) and then they called and asked if they could start work the next day! They said they'd call when they were on the way, but didn't. They came in like a swarm of locusts and put up 75' of LeafGuard gutters and downspouts in about 2 hours. We were stunned at how fast and easy the whole process was. We got the estimate on 7.18, accepted it on 7.25 and the job was done on 8.3. Not even two weeks. Save yourself the hassle - don't even get estimates from other guys...just go with Audubon. One note - they didn't ask for payment when the job was done, so I had to follow up the next morning and ask how I could get a check to them. I did the math on my invoice and put it in the mail on Thursday. At end of day on Friday, I received an email from the Audubon office with my invoice total, and it was $45 less than what I'd sent. Monday I contacted them about my overpayment and the office person tried a little "let me check with John and see what your total is" and I stopped her - this was not the time to negotiate or change prices and the final invoice was emailed from her. She had the final balance. They provided a total after payment was sent, and owed me a refund. Period. She agreed. That was a small irritation but the refund came through really quickly (same week), so I appreciated that. :) Aside from that one big hiccup at the end, Audubon Gutters did an amazing job! read more

I post this only to provide an honest review and to support a quality, local business! *** *** We bought our house almost 3 years ago and it came with the lifetime gutter warranty from Audubon Gutters. Recently we had structural work done on our carport and had to call Audubon to get the gutters removed before work, and re-installed after the work. From Audubon - we worked with Jason, and these are our summary comments of our first experience with this company: Jason was very responsive and always did what he said he was going to do Jason was always on time and very easy to communicate with Jason showed up to do the work exactly when he said he would Audubon was MORE than fair with any additional charges They VOLUNTEERED to clean the gutters during this process Jason had great ideas about how to re-install the gutters after the work was done - to make the new gutter arrangement work most efficiently while looking good with our new carport design And... There was no trying to dig up extra stuff to charge us for! Overall - we worked with a local company who provided an excellent product, with great customer service and did excellent work. read more

I was just hung up on by Raymond with Audubon Gutters because I told him that I was not using him for my project. He was extremely rude to me. He had given me a quote and told me that I needed to sign it to be put in que for his 6 week turn around. I asked him for color samples which he dropped off to me but I never decided on a color and did not sign the estimate to commit to using him. In the mean, time I got other quotes and found a better price and a company that I will definitely use now. He is now telling me he already bought the materials and that I committed to it and that's why he's upset. How is it possible for you to have bought materials when I never decided on a color? Until now I've heard great things about this company but unfortunately it was not my experience. It's sad that people can be so unprofessional and rude to people they don't even know. read more
