I found myself in need of a new roof since the one I had was 24 yrs. old and showing several signs of leakage. I contacted Clayton Construction and Jason came out a few days later to check things out and work up an estimate. He got back with me in a couple days with 2 estimates, one for repair and one for replacement. I found the replacement price too good to pass up. I OK'd the work for replacement due to the roofs age and requested about 2 weeks into the future to start----weather permitting. His crew showed up on the appointed date and began work. I have nothing but praise for his roofers and their work ethic. This roof was torn off, some repairs made to the decking and then buttoning things up with the underlayment, drip edge and nailing down the shingles and ridge venting. All this done in the heat of late June 2025 and the only breaks his crew took was lunch and a late afternoon break to cool down a bit----------then back on the roof to finish the job. Cleanup was great with everything going into a big dump trailer in my driveway and following up with the rolling magnet to pick up any nails they may have missed on the initial cleanup. Complete roof replacement project on main house, breezeway, and garage. Highest quality materials offered including a latest technology moisture barrier underlayment. Project was accomplished in 2 days after the insurance process was complete. Roof replacement is a messy affair anyway you look at it. Care was taken to control litter and damage to landscaping. Cleanup is obviously important due to the abundance of sharp pointy things - roofing nails. In addition to collecting the usual chunks of old roofing are multiple passes with large magnets to capture the old roofing's nails. They even came back the next day to run the magnet again after the grass had been cut. One landscape lighting fixture was inadvertently damaged and it was replaced including the installation. Recommend you consider Jason and his team if roofing is needed. I contracted Jason to cleaned and recover my flat roof. The price was reasonable, but more importantly, I was pleasantly surprised at how accommodating he was to my busy schedule. I have trouble taking time away from work, so he worked with me through phone and email. When weather delayed the work, he kept me updated, which I really appreciated. The job only took a couple of days, and other than the newly redone roof, I could barely tell anyone had been in my yard (they cleaned up any mess left by the project). What can I say, they are great! I contacted the company after I found them on Yelp and spoke with Jason. He was easy to deal with and offered a good price after visiting my husband and I at our home. He was very knowledgeable and was not a pushy sales person (which we loved) but rather gave us the facts, brought up potential issues with our gate (if we did not do something with the gate the gate could swing and damage the soon to be installed downspout) and offered us a few options. We agreed and moved forward and within 2 weeks we had brand new gutters, downspouts, and trim. We could not be more pleased with the quality of work and the professionalism of the team.
