Every property we had seen over the last month or two we found ourselves going up against several other prospective tenants. It's a nightmare to try and find rentals here in this area. We had visited other property management companies in Arroyo Grande, and let me tell you...those are some of the most unprofessional people in the real estate industry. One company held our application fee/check for a week and never processed our app or contacted us (thank God). Another was supposed to hold an open house within a half-hour window, and never showed up, while us and 10 to 15 other people were outside the house waiting. Yet another company told us on one day that a property was still available and they were taking applications and to come in the next day, and when we came in the next day we were told that the property was already rented. I and my family are very impressed and happy with the professionalism, courtesy, and urgency in which Wanda, Jeff, and Claudia treated us! I honestly would not recommend anyone to any other property management company than Del Mar who might be interested in renting in this area. Wanda and Jeff were sincerely happy for us when we were accepted. My wife actually cried when I told her that we got the house she wanted. This realtor does not fix house appliances when regular maintenance is required (ice maker, dish disposal, etc.), communicate in a calm and direct manner, or know how to do math. She managed to mix myself and another one of her tenants up when giving back house deposits which ended up in me being shorted $1,000. Her solution to this problem was not to correct the problem she caused, but told that other tenant and myself to "venmo each other to make it right ourselves." However, this was not a problem caused by us and should not had to have been solved by us.

Take 'Chelsea D.' from Santa Ynez, who created her Yelp account in August 2026 solely to leave a 5-star review as her first and only activity. The review is so poorly manufactured that it accidentally refers to Linda as 'they' instead of her actual name.
