I took my daughter to Dr. Ellicott after taking her to a sports medicine doctor and the Emergency Room twice who both said she just needed to stay off of it for a few days and it should be ok because nothing showed up on the x-ray. She was in severe pain and was sent home both times with nothing for the pain or inflammation. The very next morning I had to get up and find someone else to look at it because she had me up all night. I told her that we were going to find someone who specializes in that particular area only. Dr. Ellicott was highly recommended and when I called to make the appointment, to my surprise, he was the one who answered the phone. I explained to him that she had been in a car accident and that she was still in severe pain. He told me to bring her on in that morning and I did. He showed a lot of concern and was very informative about his findings. It turned out that she had a bone fracture. He gave her something for the swelling to go down in order to see what had to be done. He is still monitoring her but she is feeling a lot better in that area.
