Dr Cho is a God Send!!…read more I tried acupuncture 2 years ago while on a cruise. Within 5 minutes she'd relieved my sea sickness and in 3 days of treatment even my sciatica was relieved. So I started looking for a doctor close to home for follow up. A month ago I found Dr Cho's clinic. This week during treatment Dr Cho relieved a pain in my back that began 11 years ago after a car accident! It was a miracle!! Maybe you're unsure whether to try something unconventional in Western medicine. I was too. But now 2 acupuncture doctors have done what years of pills, shots, doctors, and therapy couldn't. Your insurance probably won't cover the visits (check with them). So I pay approximately $150 per visit. And it's worth every penny for me! The doctor does acupuncture and cupping which is followed by light massage to help the excess fluid release. I was sent home with herbs to drink as a tea the 3 days after each visit. I don't understand how it works or why it works...but that's also the case with any medical procedure. I'm extremely satisfied and grateful for Dr Cho and his clinic!

The second time, they only treated acupuncture, and almost all of my pain was relieved. Now, my neck is pain-free, and my arms are about 80% better. I'm so glad I found this place.

I am going to be helped with insomnia, and so far I have not improved much in that department. But when it comes to the pain I have from arthritis, I can say my muscles are much more relaxed, and there is less pain. The staff is great, and they have excellent tea.

I had acupuncture before so I was not new to the treatment. I was told it was my liver causing my problems. I was also told that the doctor would request a panel of blood tests at the end of treatment in March but that I would have to pay for it. I was in total agreement. I was also told that I would have a final 30 minute sit down with the doctor at the end of my treatment. That is the only thing that happened and he kept looking at the clock over my head the whole time. When I asked for a comparison of the the pictures he took of my tongue at the beginning and what the pictures might look like now, he stated that the pictures must be on another phone but all of a sudden he found pictures. His practice is not what it claims to be. Buyer beware. He gave (I bought) me supplements and herbs and would not answer my questions about them when I asked. At this point it felt very unsafe but I had already paid $3,047.00. Money that I had to take from my savings. This office is a total rip off. Don't waste your time and money. I also tried to reach out to Dr. Sherrell by letter and no response. When you leave the office at the end of your treatment, his assistant handed me a postcard and asked me to leave a 5 star review. I found that impossible. Sorry Emily.

Dr. Skelton has studied abroad and has wisdom of the modality that simply isn't matched in the Midlands, my video shows his testament to being a lifelong learner in acupuncture. Maggie is well versed in administrative aspects that if you have a friction point in receiving care through your insurance, or in my case VA Optum Community Care Referral, had helped me navigate the red tape. Shannon and the team have never disappointed me. If you are looking to have your life back, they are absolutely worth trying if you have manageable pain. Going from pain level 6 (of 10) most days to 5 or 4, is truly the difference between suffering, and living.

The office is comfortable but you never have to wait long. The individual rooms are a little small but it only takes about 15 minutes for acupuncture to work so you hardly notice: highly recommend requesting the heat on and the paper blankets. Just makes it overall cozy. I learn soooo much about acupuncture. It works and it will make you calm. Don't say I didn't warn you. I enjoyed every experience and I will absolutely say that I never get much done post- acupuncture. It just zens me out..but I love it !
