I stood there one day and overhead the ladies at the front desk complaining about another patient while eating which is so unprofessional. The so called manager Shannon is so rude and dismissive. When I was called to the back, the assistant act like she's been sucking on lemons. No smiles, hellos, or nothing. Everybody seems depressed and tired with low energy. There has been a big turnover of staff. The staff before gave excellent care. I can see why the good staff left if they had to work with this group.

I had intense pain in my nail, loss of half of my nail, and discoloration after my 2nd treatment. I had a very difficult time getting through to literally anyone when I called because of their AI system so i messaged them on facebook. Once I did, the doctor saw me, but I had to wait almost a week. He then told me it was impossible to burn me..I guess that's why his tech doesn't have to wear glasses when she does laser. Maybe she will start now. I had one treatment after that and a nail looked like it was growing but it wasn't. I went back in only to miss a treatment due to another appt. and they had quadruple booked and thank God because my entire nail fell off 4 days later. I have been so distressed and wish I had chosen a different podiatrist. I asked for my money back for my unused treatments and he declined. Guess he needs that money more than me.

I can't say enough good things about the care I've gotten there. They're friendly, very thorough, motivating and extremely knowledgeable. They can explain the things they're recommending and the science behind it so anyone can understand it. I walk in there and feel like I'm with friends. It's clean, comfortable, and you have a true one on one experience. I'll be going to this Athletico location for all my future physical therapy needs, and recommend you do as well!

I was charged for the X-ray and appointments (over $100) but was told the inserts would be covered by insurance. I never received the inserts but have now been charged $180 for the inserts. It has been 7 months and his foot has grown. I called to inquire because I kept getting the bill but no inserts. I called 3 times with no return phone call. Now I get a letter from the collection agency. Never in my life have I not paid a bill but why am I paying for heel inserts I never received, won't fit and that I was told would be covered by insurance?!! Please save your time and money. I was trying to do something for my son but this place is a scam.

Upon entering, I was greeted warmly by Ashley and Rachel at the front desk. They were very personable as we exchanged light banter back and forth as they got be checked in. I appreciated their transparency as they informed me that they were implementing a new electronic medical system software and that my visit would be a little longer than usual as the staff was still getting acclimated. As I went back with the staff, I couldn't even tell that they were on a new system as they seemed to pick it up with ease. The visit was so smooth. Dr. Parfenchuck and his PA (Which kills me because I cannot remember his name, but he was hilarious with his quick witty comments) made the visit a fun one, and made me feel pretty comfortable. He was extremely knowledgeable and kept it straight with me. I was in and out and the visit did not feel like how I usually feel when I visit any sort of doctor's office. This time was pleasant. This location is located in Evans, Ga. It is separate from the main hospital in Augusta, but what I gathered, this location is where the the doctors split time to come at least once a week away from the hospital to see patients. Dr. Parfenchuck and his staff have Thursday afternoons here.
