We absolutely love SRP Park! We've experienced games from VIP box seats, general admission, and…read moreright behind the pitcher, and every spot has been such a fun experience. With our two boys, there really isn't a bad seat in the house--the energy, the music, the cheering, and all the excitement make every game feel special. Our favorite nights are definitely the fireworks games. There's something so magical about ending a summer night at the ballpark with fireworks lighting up the sky. Add in hot dogs, popcorn, an ice-cold beer, and all the classic "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" traditions, and it feels like pure Americana. I especially love that baseball is such a generational experience--the kind of simple, joyful family tradition you remember from childhood and then get to experience all over again through your own kids. SRP Park makes it easy to create those memories. Five stars from our family!

Vibe: VIP Experience for GreenJackets Baseball Game Party: 4…read moreadults (family fun) This was my 1st time experiencing the game in this stadium as a VIP. The lounge access to a/c as the game starts was super cool. As we finished eating, we moved to available outdoor seating for VIP guests. Seats were nice and padded with great view of field. These seats also allow for wait staff service. Close to end of game we moved to our "assigned seats" behind home plate. Comfy chairs with a bar for food & drinks in front of you and place to prop your feet. Great view and covered. Only drawback: fried chicken strips were not that good I ordered a cold chicken salad wrap (good) and sweet funnel fries (Excellent!) with bottled water. Parking deck gets crowded rather quickly so go early. There is a charge for parking unless you have a handicap placard. Overall: VIP is the way to go!!

Lake Olmstead park has a bit of everything. Of course the current Green Jacket baseball stadium is…read morehere. But it's a great park to picnic at along the water or take a walk around the lake. I've ran a couple 5k's here and they were fun as well. The is also the Julian bbq pitt which is an "hut" like building available for events. I'm most often here because it's a gateway to the Augusta canal trail. Just a short hike to aqueducts or you can take bike ride all the way to Savannah River rapids. You can also kayak and enjoy the lake too. So plenty to do to enjoy the outdoors here :)

This is an awesome…read morefacility--gives you a simple, old-school ball park feel without the "extra" that so many state-of-the art facilities have today. The food was cheap, and everything was right beneath the stands (food, restrooms, etc.) Great location next to Lake Olmstead and the trail head which is located behind the stadium. NEGATIVES: 1. Parking is ATROCIOUS. There is very minimal free parking. The lots are made of dirt and gravel, no defined parking spaces. It's quite common to get parked in and be unable to leave until the others nearby come to get their vehicles. Frustrating is an understatement! Some people would walk all the way from parking off Broad Street. 2. Neighborhood not the best, not the worst. Safety at night is definitely more of a concern. 3. Ticket line is always lengthy. The stands can get crowded and there is little room to move around comfortably if you need to stretch your legs. Otherwise, this is a fun facility. I miss it often, even when at current Green Jackets games across the River. I hope it stays around and gets good use!
