We had a good time walking around and looking at stuff. We didn't end up getting any food because we weren't so hungry but the food did look good! My main complaint is I wish they'd had more seating available, tables and chairs would be nice and more benches or something. I don't think I personally am as into these types events as many people are because things just seem overpriced and with a toddler who can't sit still but also can't play on big kid toys yet, our options were limited anyway. But the event seems well organized and like a fun way to get out and see some downtown shops we hadn't seen before! I suspect we will go next year too.

Also have your ticket ready so you can get in fast, I would advise to take a screenshot of your ticket just in case it doesn't load while there. Another thing is to eat before, this is because in the arena they only have about 4 locations to eat decent food along with the lines are ridiculous and the price is crazy.

We sat in section 15, row F seats 4 & 5 and had no problem seeing or hearing. The seats are jam packed together so you do feel like you're sitting on top of each other, but that would not stop of from coming back. We parked in the parking lot on 7th street, only $10 to park and it is right there. No walking blocks away. Great time had!

You'll also have the option to see comedians, musicals, and the occasional children's production. What has always been a plus in my book is their flow. The line through security and check-in is constantly moving, the concessions are quick, and there are team members across the entire arena to help you find your seat (which is especially helpful when the lights go down!). Though I am not a snack/eat kind of person at concerts, they do have plenty to offer. Burgers, pretzels, nachos and cheese. Of course soda, water, coffee, beer, and wine are also available on every level and every corner. Every downtown needs the large arena to draw in the massive shows (and monster truck rallies), but they also need a medium sized venue so artists can stop through on their way to Atlanta or Columbia. The Bell meets that need and is a great substitute for the next few years while the James Brown Arena is being reconstructed. I hope you check a show there soon.

My sisters and I went to Board and Brush for an evening of fun and painting. We were so happy to…read morework with Amy, the owner. She was very helpful with us non-artist types. LOL! There was 80s music videos playing for us and our stations were all set up and good to go. She walked us through the steps and let us be creative, but we were happy to know that she was there with us watching as we worked. We needed a little hand holding at first, but she gave us confidence that we could get our piece finished and helped touch up our mistakes. We are proud of the art we made.

It was a smallish place inside, with no restrooms past the ticket checking unless I missed them (you could go out and come back in I suppose). The seats were spread out and quite comfortable recliners, so at least you're getting a good experience there.
