5 stars. Wow! It's about customer service. Aunt Gail has this down to a fine art. She is a naturally caring person. I took her cab to and from a medical appointment, needed to pick up some dry cleaning on the way. Gail was opened doors for me, chatted and made sure I was at the right place for my appointment. This was a nightmare experience for me. I needed a ride to send my son to school. At first I seemed to be greeted by a nice enough lady...Until the contact info I was to give the dispatcher lady seemed to take me too long according to the dispatcher. I asked her if I should call back whenever I had the "Fire #" for my address. She said she would wait. As I dug for a scrap of mail I gave her the nearby intersection...she told me since I was not IN Stratford, I'd need to pay 50$ to get the taxi to my location plus the cost per km after that. So as she was figuring out the estimated cost I'd told her I did same trip last year and commented the price went up. She huffed and sighed and puffed loudly so I again asked her if I should call back so she could figure out the estimated cost. She said, "No". Then this dispatcher begins a rant about how ya cost went up. She carried on saying insurance, gas, the maintenance for the vehicles all costs went up. She tells me how minimum wage went up a buck fifty and I said, " Oh okay" I told her either way I needed the cab. She then begins another rant. She claimed that I was laughing at her...I wasnt. She had said she needed a credit card or to e transfer the money up front b4 she would even send a cab. I nervously chuckled and asked my house mate to plz go online to complete her request to pay upfront. I was at the computer just waiting as we logged onto the account to send the money but she begins her rant again! She huffed and puffed and sighed and was angry yelling at me how she yards pay her drivers an extra buck fifty so all price were up!...I simply wanted to get my taxi service and this clearly OWNER who complained about the buck fifty minimum wage wasn't interested in an 80$ fare. I told her she was being short with me...that I was online...that I had asked her a number of times if I should call back & she ranted calling me a few choice names then I said, "Wow! you should NOT answer a phone 4 a living if you cannot even simply book a call from a patron cuz you are so busy complaining, & if u don't like regular people who want a simple ride maybe time for a vacation or a new job! She hung up! I called the real Stratford two cab city cab people & was met with a way more fair fare! Plus normal response not complaining about giving service! I saw 5 stars & knew that yards be bogus! My advice stick with the real business that's been around 30 years! Not some newbie cranky she has sat pay her employees minimum wage! Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!
