I love that their desserts are not overwhelmingly sweet, but still satisfies my food cravings. If I'm not mistaken they freshly bake their goodies in house, and deliver to their other locations. My favorite thing to get is their dessert sandwiches, especially the red velvet oreo sandwich with cream cheese frosting. What I like to do when I can resist eating it right away. I put it in the freezer for a couple hours. The frosting will freeze a little, and the whole thing tastes like an icecream sandwich. I'm really glad despite the pandemic they are still open and well! They are such a cute little shop, and some of their locations are in mall food courts. Please continue to support small businesses, black owned businesses, and women owned businesses! :) I gave this place a chance, and now its become one of my favorite places to get a quick treat!

They are so much fun to eat. The price is nice for this little snack dessert, two for five dollars, I got a half dozen of whoopie pies for $15.00. The whoopie pies and the cupcakes are very moist, they are baked fresh everyday. Velvet Mama is located inside Stonecrest Mall, they have two locations in this mall a cart downstairs on the first floor and a larger counter style upstairs with more cake selections. My favorite is lemon laughter which is offered on Thursday and Fridays. I also love blueberry whoopie pie. Keylime Is a favorite of mine also. I think blueberry and keylime whoopie or cupcakes are offered everyday. My least favorite is the Salted Caramel. The staff is always friendly. I was told they sale whole cakes also.

I went here to purchase 6 Brownies for a coworkers Birthday and I did the sign read a half dozen…read more$17.99 for a half dozen I proceeded to get the brownies and a $1 water..the cashier rung up $2.99 x (6) and I ask her why she said it was the same thing I was thinking to myself $3 taxes I was in a hurry and I was so mad as I walked to my car... I knew it wasn't right ...I just didn't like the way she got over on me and she knew it...I will NEVER buy anything else and not to mention the flies that was flying over the cookies!

Monday 7/29/26 , 6:55 pm, went thru drive thru. Ordered (2) #9s with hot peppers and to cut them in…read morehalf. Seemed to be taking longer than usual as we get the same subs every week. Drove to Conyers 13 miles away. Opened the bag and placed subs on our plates. The 1st sub unwrapped didn't have any bread, What the heck? Just some meat wrapped in lettuce. 2nd sub looked normal in bread. My gf and I were dumb founded, wondering if this was some joke. Knowing we probably wouldn't return. I took pics and planned on going back to JJ's tomorrow. Looked at receipt and saw (2) #9s. Took pic of the receipt, that's when I noticed one sub had UNWICH below the entry. Other sub had had peppers and cut 1/2. Fortunately my gf had a large tortilla shell to put the messy contents in. I order these subs the same way every week, so knowing I ordered correctly. It was the JJ employee that screwed it up. Still planning on going there and complaining.
