Upon entering, the tables were set for our custom experience. We had plenty of helpful instruction from the owner and the head baker and decorator. We choose mixture of the classic vanilla and classic chocolate cupcakes to decorate. We were so proud of our decorated cupcakes and they were all so delicious. Staff were friendly and excited a customer who didn't know about them found them. They do cater but sell slices of cake as well, and I got a slice of one of their red velvet cream cheese cake ($5.50). That's basically a red velvet sandwich with a cream cheese layer in the middle, AND cream cheese frosting. Flavors were pretty good! Cake slice was pretty big, and while it wasn't as moist as others I have, I think that's because their slices were stored in the refrigerator and just came out of the fridge. Interior is pretty small. No tables, no chairs, this is a get it and go establishment. They also sell cupcakes but no coffee/beverages. Parking isn't an issue here because sadly, the Diamond Plaza just holds Scratch Batch Cakes, a computer repair shop and one other store...everything else is empty. This plaza is off of Covington Highway, just before you reach Glenwood Road (right across the street from the Chevrolet dealership). Getting into the lot is easy. Getting out of the lot sucks though, especially if you're turning left towards I-285's direction. At the end of the day, I like this small business that's been around for about a year and a half.
