I love that their desserts are not overwhelmingly sweet, but still satisfies my food cravings. If I'm not mistaken they freshly bake their goodies in house, and deliver to their other locations. My favorite thing to get is their dessert sandwiches, especially the red velvet oreo sandwich with cream cheese frosting. What I like to do when I can resist eating it right away. I put it in the freezer for a couple hours. The frosting will freeze a little, and the whole thing tastes like an icecream sandwich. I'm really glad despite the pandemic they are still open and well! They are such a cute little shop, and some of their locations are in mall food courts. Please continue to support small businesses, black owned businesses, and women owned businesses! :) I gave this place a chance, and now its become one of my favorite places to get a quick treat!

Velvet Mama is located inside Stonecrest Mall, they have two locations in this mall a cart downstairs on the first floor and a larger counter style upstairs with more cake selections. My favorite is lemon laughter which is offered on Thursday and Fridays. I also love blueberry whoopie pie. Keylime Is a favorite of mine also. I think blueberry and keylime whoopie or cupcakes are offered everyday. My least favorite is the Salted Caramel. The staff is always friendly. I was told they sale whole cakes also.
